Someone blocked us in along with 2 other couples. Had to wait 30mins for reception to acquire car keys to move vehicle. Hence late leaving for continuation of journey.

A restaurant is closing a bit early for our liking, but drinks were open till late. Compensated with very nice breakfast and friendly staff in the morning

Great hotel, I am going to use this chain more often for sure. Comfortable interiors prepared with a lot of attention to detail. The lake view is incredible and well worth the money.

Was not offered a parking space when there were two outside but was told not to park there car park was full. Then another car parked where I could have. Also couldn't connect to the WiFi the router just needed rebooting I used to work in it covering hotel WiFi services complications unnecessary other wise great hotel

only 1 elevator and it was not easy to check-out with the luggage, as it was very busy in the morning.

The air con wasn't working, but was fixed.

No Air Con (due to historic nature/age). Room fans supplied were ok but not very effective.

Fantastic location, centre of town and only 5 mins from bus stop or a short walk (100m) uphill to the Mt Rigi lift station. Has its own jetty and steps to swim in the lake. Restaurant was top quality, with a wide selection of dishes.

The bed was not so comfortable, but what I really didn't like was the church bells every 15 min and overnight. I heard it till after 2am. But this is it. There was no air conditioning, so I had to keep the window open.

The location is absolutely breathtaking ( view and atmosphere). The staff is very nice and kind. The hotel is old and chic, and it has some elegance that never fails. The restaurant is great as well.

Nothing, but it was out of season, which was great, but the breakfast was pretty small.

Excellent location and a very comfortable and cosy hotel. The staff also were very engaged and helpful. We had dinner at the restaurant on one night and it was very good.

The SPA was not working. I understand that the hotels don’t like to keep the costs of maintaining the spa area, but at least they could warn their customers about this. As “compensation”, the hotel offered us a bottle of Prosecco, which is always welcomed 😃

Beautiful location, very comfortable rooms and lovely staff! We visited out of season and they gave us a free room upgrade and a bottle of wine on the house which obviously was very much appreciated!

I think that, in light of current climate changes, the hotel should seriously consider installing air conditioning. We spent 4 nights there and were constantly overheated in the bedroom, making sleep very difficult. Even opening the patio doors was insufficient as there was little or no breeze.

Location is excellent, staff very helpful and the breakfast is first class.

We felt that it was expensive. We had one evening meal where we ordered two courses which were not exceptional but we were prepared to pay the very high cost specified on the menu but we were also served an “amuse bouche” which we had not ordered. This consisted of one mouthful of tuna on toast and we were surprised to be charged an extra 4.9 Swiss francs for each one.

Very minor points: Wifi is unnecessarily complicated; lift occasionally delayed because door not properly closed.

Superb location. Spacious, well equipped room. Very good restaurant. Attentive staff.

One of the most serene places in the world. The old world charm in the hotel was perfect. The food, presentation, aesthetics was all on point.
