We didn’t realise there was no lift, which was challenging for us with a baby, but otherwise all fine

The hotel is located in the main Street which is also used by motorbike / sports cars on the way up into the alpine passes, so it can get noisy. The village church chimes every hour but 7.0 am is a long one, you may think it's an avalanche worning. The breakfast was basic, no warm/ hot food so if your out all day you will need to stop for lunch somewhere.

The village is very pritty, had a nice walk around and found a tavern for lunch and drinks. It's ideal mid alp stop over.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful location. Only shame was restaurant was closed as we stayed on a Monday night. Would be helpful if this was stated more clearly in the information on Booking.com

Beautiful place, comfortable and quiet room with nice views, great location for skiing, breakfast was perfect both content and atmosphere, staff were very helpful and friendly AFTER I checked in. So here is why they don’t get a 10: I arrived around 1pm with a ski bag, boot bag and suitcase. Door was locked and said check-in started at 3pm. There was a number to call but no answer. I could see and hear people inside (cleaning or whatever?) but despite knocking several times they ignored me. Would not have been too difficult to let me drop the bags and wander back to town to grab lunch. A pretty irritating start. However as I said above, once I was checked in things were great. I hope they will consider changing how they do check-in’s.

As I wasn't skiing I was dissappointed that there was not one English speaking TV station - but that was probably Switzerland rather than the hotel. At least the hotel at Disentis had BBC world news in English.

Breakfast was great, wonderful spread. room was warm without being overheated. staff were freindly. young lady helped carry bags to room as no lift.

This hotel is in the perfect location. Everything was cozy, warm, and clean. The included breakfast was excellent and so fresh with meats, cheeses, breads, eggs, and fruits and nuts. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We thought it was worth paying extra for the “ski in ski out”. Was a bit our fault for not doing more research but this was not the case - the actual main gondola was around a 10-15 min walk from the house. We weren’t a big fan of the cable car slopes (very limited options) so we never actually ski’d in and out! There was also one lady who was unfriendly and made the guests feel uncomfortable, which was a shame. We also wished there was a fridge in the room to keep our supermarket belongings as it was too expensive for us to dine out every day.

The room was overall fine, the restaurant was exceptional (best food and service we had in a very long time - this was the highlight. We loved the lady who served us). We also appreciated the man who helped us check in and carried our bags up the stairs. The room was clean and loved the bathroom.

Food in the restaurant is a mix between Italian and Asian, so quite special.

Very friendly staff, as well in the restaurant and also at check-out. We had an issue with our bill, but Nina did everything to resolve it and was able to fix it quickly, which was really appreciated!

I would have liked a cooked breakfast option (I am a scrambled egg fan) but the self service egg boiler was a good second best. Not a big issue.

Helpful staff and a good breakfast. There is no lift but Maria kindly helped us take up our bags. The suite on the 3rd floor was spacious and very well equipped. We liked the tea and coffee makers in the room.

Our family room was located just above the kitchen - unfortunately the family did not get much rest. The staff was very accommodating and understanding.

The staff, service and restaurant were awesome. Great location. We really enjoyed the restaurant and the renovation is well done in the modern rooms. Good music selection as well.
