This was the most quiet place I have ever stayed. Everyone (staff and guests were exceptionally respectful). It was located in a lovely park area by the lake, away from all the craziness in town, but still walking distance from the train station and things to do. We had been awake and traveling for over 25 hours and they let us check in early, so that we could get some sleep. AA++

Our room was a bit dark, so maybe one more lamp could have helped, but that was absolutely all!

We liked the location, the decor (including many comfortable sitting areas and real plants, the friendly staff, and how cleanly and organized everything was at Backpackers Luzern! It was an easy walk or bus ride into the old city and harbor. Also it was quiet at night so we all slept well!

It's not very convenient for food. They don't provide the guests with anything, neither for shower nor shampoo. Not even a tea bag! But, the kitchen is clean.

The place is very clean. The room for 2 was comfortable. It's very close to the lake. It is about 20 minutes' walk to the main railway station/centre l. If you enjoy walking/jogging, it's the right place for you.

Probably one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. Clean, good atmosphere. Location is 15 min walk to train station and centre. The design of the hostel was very cool and modern making it a great place to spend a night. Best night sleep I have had so far this trip.

It was HOT on the backside. The fan gave some relief. It was a little far from the town by foot, but buses are offered.

Location is a good walk from downtown, so expect to walk or take the bus. The only annoying thing about this stay was check in being at 5pm.

Our first backpackers as a couple. Absolutely loved the place. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Room was cosy and had a fan (essential for summer). Bathrooms were plenty and very clean, n just outside the rooms. Shared kitchens were clean and well organised, ample dining tables and lovely decorations. Lift access was a plus point! Park and lake view just outside the premise was lovely. Not too long a walk to the bus stop, and nice stroll along the lake to town.

Very accommodating to our request for rooms close together. The rooms were big and comfortable with balcony. The kitchens and bathrooms were big and clean. I have stayed here before and would stay again. Fans in the bunks and also charging ports were awesome.

Loved its location. Staff were super friendly and it was the perfect place for my kids and I to hang out for a couple of nights. Its been our favourite stop so far. We loved how quiet it was at night.

Minor issues: breakfast is not included and there are no fans or AC is any rooms. Popping a window open is not ideal at times. However, they give a USB small fan for each bed, which helped a bit.

It’s super clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The bed is comfy and the kitchen is nicely organized. It’s also a 15 min walk from main train and ferry stations.
