Really spacious and well equipped. Comfortable beds and really quiet. In a great location within easy walking distance of the town.

We made an error when we booked it as we did not put the kids on so the booking technically was for 2 adults. The apartment was a double room and a separate room with two single beds. We rang the host prior to arriving to let them know. It was disappointing to be then charged an additional 150 francs in cash when we came to check out. If we had put the kids on the original booking.com it would have made no difference. We did not see the host and we only found this out on the last night via a booking.com message and a bill under the door so we did not even have the opportunity to discuss this. A bit sad really as we have stopped here at least 4 times previosly.

It was a self-catering apartment so the breakfast was not included. The apartment is in a great quiet area but close to the town centre. Access was either by a steep path or a lift so there was no issues

Washing machine stopped working, our clothes were stuck inside. I messaged our host on whatsapp and in the booking app for assistance and never got a response.

We LOVED the views and apartment itself. Everything was clean and easy to use. The location was amazing and the double balcony was incredible. I hope to go back one day.

We love the outlook and the fact that there were cows in the nearby paddock with bells attached around their necks that used to come up every morning and chew the grass metres away from our apartment. There were many little things that were also very good in the well appointed apartment such as: the extra long quilts and the extra large towels. Despite being on the side of the valley, the interesting lift access to the level that the apartment block was on was most welcome. Whilst we didn’t have a view of the Matterhorn, we could see beautiful hill sides and snowcapped mountains – when the weather was fine of course. Being a little out of Zermatt meant that it was relatively quiet and that’s what we needed for a good break from rather hectic time in Switzerland and Germany.

The only thing was the oven only had 1 rack. We couldn't find any others but did manage. As there were 4 of us staying having a couple of extra oven racks would have been helpful.

The size of the apartment, the views and location. The apartment was lovely and warm, there was also plenty of hot water for people to enjoy a bath or shower after a day on the slopes. The tunnel lift was ideal as we didn't have far to walk for the bus.

Pillow was not very comfortable, and radiator does not work. Apartment was warm enough for us at the end of September but not sure how warm it will be in winter.

Great location with a beautiful view of the Matterhorn. Clean apartment with everything you need. Host was also very responsive.

Ground floor so unable to see mountains directly. Heavy patio door mechanism Crowded furniture with 2 large blue chairs too. Guests need to be aware long walk uphill from train station with cases so should be advised to get a taxi.

The only things that could have been improved would be the availability of central heating. It wasn’t available this time of year? Or maybe wasn’t working? There was a small heater available but that wasn’t quite enough on the cooler days.

Location was great Apartment was lovely, tidy & clean. Availability of washing machine & dryer if needed was handy.

It wasn’t stocked very well - we ended up having to buy our own tissues and toilet paper. There was a bloody (?) stain on one of the comforters. Please note that laundry is not in the unit itself. It is on the bottom floor and there is an extra charge.

Good view of the Matterhorn and not too far from downtown (10-15 minute walk). Having a full kitchen is an added bonus and the apartment is very spacious. The WiFi worked great!
