Property was in an excellent location for us! The views were magnificent! The beautiful waterfall was very close, and we watched paragliders right from the porch! The apartment was very clean and totally met our needs! I truly enjoyed our stay in Lauterbrunnen and the accommodations were well suited for us!

Only thing its a little far from train station and if you choose to walk it would take around 10mins. Although bus stop is just outside the apartment.

Loved the apartment and the location. Terrace was amazing and the facilites that one could need was there in the apartment. It felt right at home and wish i could stay more days.

The apartment was perfect. It is about a 5-10 minute stroll to the trail station, which we loved, as it was nice and quiet being off the 'main street'. We had a lovely view of two waterfalls from our patio, so it was lovely out in the evening after hiking. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The host was also very responsive to some questions we had before we arrived. We would definitely stay there again!

Very minor things that are based on personal preference, for example, more pillows in the bedroom could make it more comfortable. Also, because of allergies to strong chemical smells such as some laundry detergents, it was difficult to spend time in the shower/bathroom because the laundry machines were there. A suggestion would be to use another brand of detergent that is not too chemically-smelling because the smell permeates the entire bathroom. Other than that, the place is perfect for vacation stay and I would stay there again.

The location was excellent. You can see two waterfalls from the terrace, and you’d see parachuters occasionally. Very peaceful and quiet. It was a short distance to the town but far enough from crowds. The owner is very responsive and helpful. We enjoyed our stay. I would stay there again.

perfect location, near bus stop, and the terrace facing right to the mountain! the washing machine very helpful for us travelling with toddler, and the kitchen is pretty complete.. we will recomend apartment trummelbach to everyone who wants peacefull side of lauterbrunnen..

It was definitely pricey for a simple apartment, even at this location. We were two people and only stayed for one night, may work better for people who stay longer and need a base with kitchen, laundry options, terrace and so on. View to the valley was as shown in the photos, but interrupted by a parking lot in between, and a big barn right ahead.

Good location and views, with goats right across the street and the valley ahead. Nice touch with the chocolate on the pillow, and good selection of coffee. Apartment was fine, would expect to spend most time outdoors. Kitchen, fridge, laundry and bathroom amenities. Terrace was nice for a morning coffee and goat/valley view.

The apartment is quite expensive considering its condition — it feels a bit worn-out amd a basement-like atmosphere. Unsure that the views compensating overprice.

The views from the apartment terrace are absolutely stunning. The place is also well-equipped with many useful appliances and items that make the stay comfortable.

One of the chairs squeaks and the shower head slides to the wall instead of keeping it's position above the head. I suppose these details should be in place for the price of 330 CHF per night.

Basically everything: bed is comfortable, living-room nicely furnished and cosy, kitchen well-equipped. Flat very clean. Instructions clear.

A few shortcomings: the privacy blinds in the living room did not cover the main doors, so anyone could see into the apartment in the evening. Lighting was insufficient. Bathroom sink didn’t drain properly.

1. Definitely does not offer the 'best views'... The pictures are deceptive - What you see from the apartment is a big shed, cars parked and a tree blocking the view. I also used a wide angle lens to take a picture of the view (attached), but from where you would normal stand in the courtyard 2. I don't know who was upstairs but they must've had children who were running around and it was really annoying. I wouldn't have minded so much if it was during the day but this happened on consecutive nights between 8-10pm 3. There was no kettle, toaster, microwave which restricted what we could make using the kitchen 4. We couldn't keep the doors to the courtyard open as it brought flies in immediately. We had to buy fly spray as none was supplied.

Only the terrace doors had black out curtains. Sleeping in the bedroom with no curtains was quite uncomfortable as a solo female traveler. The terrace was also not private, many people were able to walk by and see me.

There wasn’t any hand soap anywhere and the body wash and shampoo (which are basic amenities) were empty in the shower containers. One flat pillow for each person was not very accommodating, i had trouble sleeping without any neck support. The check in at 4 when the valley is already dark and the check out at 10 when it is still dark never allowed for an enjoyable view in the light as the pictures show. Not a great value for an 18 hour stay.

The glass windows in the front that opened up to the view were nice
