We just finished an amazing stay here. Although there is a second bedroom with two twin beds, my husband and I stayed here by ourselves. Our hosts, Mireille and Daniel were lovely to talk to and happy to provide recommendations as requested. It’s also the perfect location! Close enough to walk to all restaurants, train station, and the lift, but separated enough that it was very quiet in the evening and early mornings (no other travelers around). The kitchen and bathroom was well stocked and being able to do laundry was a big bonus item. My husband and I would love to return for a longer stay at Chalet La Muntaniala!

Very clean apartment. Close proximity to almost everything in Grindelwald, walking distance to supermarket and train station. Full kitchen complete with washer and dryer make it extra convenient. Daniel and Mireille are great hosts. Would love to stay again.

Very good, neat and basic apartment. Very friendly host. Ski Bus stop next to the apartment. 5 minutes walk from the center.

The only minor issue was that the double bed was very noisy, if the other person moved in the night it would wake the other person up and I wouldn't say we were light sleepers. This didn't detract from our overall enjoyment though.

Fantastic hosts who met us on arrival and talked through all the information we needed for our stay. The apartment is in an excellent location, just a short walk into the town. The apartment was exceptionally clean and had absolutely everything required for self catering. The view from the patio is amazing and this was a great place to relax in the evenings.Would thoroughly recommend.

The apartment seemed brand new, spotless, well equipped, and close to town. The patio has a wonderful view of the mountains. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment. One bedroom is up a circular staircase which could be a problem for someone older.

There was some road noise but since I travel with ear plugs, it didn’t really bother me.

A lovely, well-equipped apartment in a great location near to the train and bus station so easy to get around. Loved the outside seating area in the sun with great views of the Matterhorn. We’d come back.

The beds and pillow were a little softer than what we are used to but other than that, everything was amazing. Loved the apartment and location, great hosts.

I can’t find anything I didn’t like about the house.

Just 5-8 minutes walk from the Grindelwald station. Amazing view of Eiger mountain, just front of the house. Facilities are well provided, I can wash and dry my clothes during travel period. Host is super helpful and nice. This is the most wonderful home stay of my Switzerland trip.

Everything. Perfect. Especially Mireille and Daniel are aweeesome! They are very kind and helpful. I miss them already. They pick us up from station and its really helpful. Thank you so much! view was amazing! House is veryvery clean. Animal is not allowed and its my favorite point. Hope others keep this house clean too :) Mireille provide enough towels. and even kitchen scrubbers and etc. shampoo and body cleaner too! everything there. We can also use our own washing machine. Definitely I wanna visit here again!

Amazing! There's only a door between you and the Eiger! The landlord was really kind, warm-hearted 🫶🏻 You can also see the starry night if the sky's clear. If available, you can also have a small walk to the Coop, and enjoy the beautiful streetview at Grindelwald.

The toilet would continue to run sometimes. The beds (main bed and children’s) were uncomfortable and creaked loudly when we moved. I could hear the owners talking at midnight and 1 am from the children’s room. I was sleeping there to see if a different bed might be more comfortable. The sheets are polyester and don’t breathe and the pillows are lumpy. There was no AC so windows needed to be open during the day. There are no screens on the windows so flies came in constantly. There were no face cloths available.

The owners were upstairs if we needed them. The wife was very nice, helpful and friendly.
