The initial communication, we did not receive any check in details on the app even after writing a message. Also, the address was not visible on the app, had to Google and find the directions. After we went up to the apartment, I saw my name on the window and found the door open with keys hanging inside. It felt weird entering without any communication. Like many, we did not read many reviews before, the way to the apartment is steep and it is indeed difficult walking up. Going up the road from the main road, is a challenge for old people and people having heavy luggages or backpacks. Please note this while booking. The heating used to stop sometime in the evening, and the room heater did not work, it was not a major problem as the duvets were warm and comfortable but the room itself was cold. Also, maybe a TV would be useful, but the host did provide a lot of books, indoor games and a radio.

The apartment itself was wonderful and had mostly everything you'd need. Just met the host for a few minutes on the day of checking in but met the host's mother while checking out. She was a lovely lady! There were coffee and tea in the apartment, and it contained more than enough utensils if someone is looking to cook. The location was a bit tricky but other than that it had an amazing view. The beds were comfortable and it was big enough for 3 guests. It was near to the main road, apart from the steep way up to the apartment, near to the rail station as well. Overall, a good stay.

The apartment is up a hill about 175m from the main street, its a pretty view and area but be aware it requires a bit of a climb. A TV in the apartment would be a nice addition and perhaps a sofa as only the day bed in the living room .

Great location, although the hill to the peoperty was pretty steep for carrying luggage. The only reason we didn't give it a 10 was that the seating area could have been more comfortable after a long day of hiking.

The view from everywhere was amazing. The host was very welcoming. The beds were very comfortable. Great location.

Heat was set low when we arrived (to be fair we didn’t ask for help and should have), and the apartment would benefit from a comfortable armchair and/or sofa. It’s not fancy, but we weren’t paying for fancy. Beware that it is something of a steep walk up from town with luggage; just take your time and pause to enjoy the area!

Beautiful location and views, nicely off the main strip in a tourist town. Spacious, clean, and well-equipped with information brochures, kitchen equipment and some basic food items/coffee. An excellent value!

There isn’t anything to really dislike. Just a note that the road up to the apartment is narrow and rather steep with curves. It is next to the restaurant called Flavours. One needs to drive very carefully, and it will not be easy to walk up if you have big heavy luggage. Also, the beds are a bit saggy, but we still had good comfortable sleep in them.

We stayed for 5 nights. It was comfortably big and the kitchen was well equipped. There is also a new heater (with real fire!) that brings down the cold in the apartment. For info, the washing machine and dryer are coin operated. The view of the valley is really very beautiful and it’s a joy to sit outside and admire the surroundings. Just behind is a waterfall, and if you’re lucky like us, you may even spot some wild deer. Mr Reinhard, the owner, is very responsive and helpful.

Like other reviews mentioned, the property is up a hill. But it’s not too bad with a backpack (rolling suitcase might be an issue). Note you are on the bottom level of a multi-level building, so you can hear movement above you. This would be fine but upstairs seems to be very inconsiderate of the level below. If the level was used by another tourist, that’s fine - but if that level is used by the owners of the building, they should know better. At 300 USD a night, I would not expect that I would be awake at 11pm listening to furniture being moved around or heavy objects being dropped again and again.

Great location and a nice place. Perfect for groups. It’s well equipped and perfect for a longer or short stay. It has a really homey vibe which I love.

Light anxiety. Clicking & popping noises much like equipment switching on and off, in the middle of the night need getting used to. Also, driving up and down the curvy slope needs attention - the lane is only a car's width, but serves both directions.

Views were nice. We were on ground floor, host was upstairs, who accommodated our early arrival. Cosy place - my Tiger loved that he made a friend, who kept him company throughout.

A lounge chair to relax in would be good . After a days hiking either had to sit on your bed, the dinning table or outside seating area .

Incredible views from our front porch . Saw the snow which I didn’t expect . The kitchen was really well equipped for self catering
