Just that the room was very hot. Could open the windows but it was very noisy downstairs in the narrow street. It seemed people hung out drinking and chatting until very late do was quite noisy. Not good if you’re a light sleeper

Lovely spacious room. Exceptionally clean and comfortable beds. Had everything we needed. The hosts seemed nice but only met them briefly.

The noise from the bars on the street made it difficult to sleep even with ear plugs. When I arrived there was no one at the Splendid Bar to give me a key even though I had provided my arrival time as requested months in advance, and the property manager did not return multiple messages or phone calls.

The location is superb. Could not be better for walking Zürich. The room was clean and comfortable.

The check-in was a bit complicated. We didn't know how to get in. Luckily a person from the bar next to the hotel was already there and helped us to get in. He was very friendly. We only had one blanket, which not always is convenient.

The hotel is located in the heart of Zurich. Obviously there are bars around and during the weekend you can hear the party people talking. But knowing this before our stay, we both expected it even more noisy, which was not the case. Otherwise the room was very clean and has all you need to stay for a night. If there is live music in the attached splendid piano bar, go and have a drink while observing party people!

Very nice stay in this hotel, excellent to explore Zürich in a day. Located above a cosy piano bar for some entertainment before bed. Very clean and comfortable.

We waited too long for our key cards. We checked in late for the agreed check in time, we were all exhausted. We wasted 3 hours. The cleaner doesn’t speak English or Deutsch we have a little language barrier. The rooms were quite dusty. Don’t have even slippers. In the toilet there’s only hand soap and towels. There were only 3 pillows for four person. Very pricey.

Linda is very nice and approachable. The location is also great, as it is very accessible to all the tourist attractions.

I was not actually able to stay in this hotel as just as I arrived I got a message asking me to go to another hotel (which I think they also owned) as they said it was full. Given a main reason for choosing this hotel was its location near the station & the other place was 10 minutes further, I was obviously not happy with this but was left with no option. The staff didn't seem to think it was a problem...

1. no hairdryer. 2. they didn't tell you how to lock the door and unlock yourself inside (press the black button) 3. no one told you where to get the key (they came out to meet me when i was looking for entrance) 4. shampoo and bodywash were at one bottle but i doubt if it was truly for both.

The road is very noise. There are bars right in front of the hotel open till 2 am! There is no AC or even a fan and the Rommel temperature was like in an oven. If you opened the windows then yeh noise from the bars was very annoying. Awful experience
