The only downside was that the bathroom was a bit small.

Comfortable and pleasant accommodation. Although there is no air conditioning, the fresh mountain air was more than enough, and even the provided fan was unnecessary. The bed was very comfortable, and the room spacious. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We arrived before check-in time due to our planned hike in the surrounding mountains, and this was not a problem – we were initially planning just to leave our luggage, but our room was already ready. The location is excellent, only a 5-minute walk from Interlaken West train station. We also received free public transport tickets for Interlaken from the hotel. Highly recommended!

We loved everything.

The hotel owner and her staff were absolutely amazing. Kind, attentive but not nagging at all. The breakfast was to die for. While we rarely take pictures of our food, we simply had to take a photo of the meticulously designed fruit bowls, containing all sorts of fresh fruit. The breakfast was simply outstanding. Rich, but not wasteful. The accommodation itself was precisely what you'd expect. Comfortable, not too big, but definitely not small. Note there is no AC, but considering it's Interlaken and the nights are cooler, that's not a problem, if you're not staying the whole day in your room. Finally, the hotel is about 3 minutes from Interlaken West, which is outstanding if you're going to explore the area with public transport. Thank you for your hospitality and making us feel at home. We will definitely be back.

I know its old, but it was very hot and I wish we had sir conditioning.

I really liked the close but quiet location of the hotel. The lady, I think, Christine? was great. She recommended the trip around the mountains, where to stop, where we walk, we we take the train, etc. We had a fantastic day. It was long and fun. We stopped at a number of small towns in the mountains and had lunch in one and drinks in another. We saw the internal waterfalls and walked and walked. We thank her.

I had a wonderful time. The owner was absolutely delightful and made us comfortable from the start. The breakfast was included and had a nice spread of options. The room was as pictured with a view of the Mountains. Super easy walk to train station. I definitely recommend!!

I wish there was a stronger fan in the room. It would help sleeping on hot summer nights.

The staff had excellent behaviour and treated us with care and kindness. The location was perfect because we could easily start hiking in the forest or walk to the train station, shops and the beautiful river. We also loved the varied and fresh breakfast. The discount ticket that they offered for the local bus and some train rides was a plus!

The bathrooms were tight but manageable.

The staff made the stay. Christine the owner was nice enough to dry our clothes after getting soaked in the rain. Her staff also gave us some breakfast for a very early excursion.

Nothing really. A hot option at breakfast might be nice, but not vital for me. Thinnish duvet was fine for a summer visit but you might want something more substantial in winter!

For a solo traveller this is a simple, homely b&b hotel in an excellent, quiet location just 6-7mins walk from Interlaken West station. The staff were wonderfully welcoming and helpful and rooms cleaned daily. Breakfast included fresh fruit, juices, cereal, yoghurts, croissants and fresh rolls plus usual continental breakfast staples. No reception after 7pm but the hotel has a very neat system for getting in and out after hours. They provided maps etc and the Interlaken card that offers free travel on local transport and discounts at some attractions. Would definitely stay here again.

Size of the room

Location was very convenient for local travel and closeness to the train station. Room was really small and cramped but clean and bed was great. Breakfast was wonderful and the staff was delightful.

I don’t find and negative points in here. The area was quiet and that was also nice part of the place.

The staff were very helpful and hospitable in every way. The room was facing stunning view of Alps and we throughly enjoyed the stay there 😄
