Rooms were clean, nice view of the Matterhorn (though there is currently a yellow crane partially blocking the view). Direct access to town via the Schönegg tunnel.

The continental breakfast was monotonous. Staff seemed tolerant of us, instead of welcoming. We wish we’d been informed of the free shuttle to and from town prior to our arrival

It had a great view and we loved the pool and hot tub. The breakfast and service was fantastic.

The crane that was obstructing the view of the Matterhorn but there was nothing you could do about that

Very clean, and all necessities available. The lift to the downstairs bridge is super helpful instead of making the walk uphill every time.

The views are amazing, the staff was very nice and I honestly had the best time. The room we had was pretty small but I was barely in it, I was out enjoying Wengen! When I was there I was cozy and comfortable.

Free E taxi ride from train station to hotel . Shortcut lift access from hotel to the Main Street. Barman and driver were friendly.

Hotel was very basic 3 star and very dated. Room was cramped. Matterhorn Mountain View room was blocked by construction Crain. Reception staff was ok and you have to pay for each extra bits like coffee/tea as there is no refill after the first day. The welcome drink is water in the room, don’t expect anything fancy. Breakfast was basic bread and eggs

View was wonderful, even though there is currently a crane nearby that blocks a portion. Shortcut tunnel is delightful, one of my favorite things about the experience. Little hotel bus the drove us to train station was wonderful. Balcony was wonderful, so pleasant and peaceful out there.

Pillows could have been better. Be sure to use a taxi or hotel bus to get there with your luggage. It isn't a walk you want to do with luggage, but once you check in and get shortcut tunnel access card, all is good.

Quick access to town via the Schöenegg tunnel. Clean rooms and facilities. Good breakfast. Friendly and accommodating stafff.

Walls are thin and noise from surrounding rooms is fairly intrusive. Laundry is expensive at 20 franks.

Great location in the centre with tunnel/elevator to the hotel. Nice views over the city and Matterhorn. Rooms are clean and well proportioned. Pool and breakfast works really well. And staff are friendly throughout.

Missing a fridge in the room

I almost overslept and missed my train. The morning manager saved my life. He knocked on my door and personally drove me to the train station just in time. I can’t thank him enough. All of the staff were wonderful, including the front desk, receptionist, but the manager who took me to the train saved my trip. I am eternally grateful.

everything was perfect. The bartender deserve special praise also. She was extremely nice.

Great location and friendly staff. Amazing views although there was a crane in the way of the Matterhorn when we stayed which was a shame.

The lift to and from the train station was great. The lift access during the stay was fantastic. Lovely staff. Great location. Would stay here again.

The shower drain was clogged. We couldn’t take shower in one go, and had to turn off the tap few times during the shower so that the water is gone. We told the reception and they said they fixed it but it was not fixed.

The hotel was great value for money, with a pool, sauna, steam bath, and jacuzzi. The tunnel to reach the town centre was also great. It was also nice to have the same table each day for breakfast.

The pillow was a little uncomfortable but the room was very quiet. The bathroom would be easier to enter if the door opened out.

Stunning hotel, very clean and very classically alpine. Friendly staff, great breakfast and the pool and thermal area was amazing. Free transfer to and from the railway station. But the view, wow. The Matterhorn from breakfast, bar and pool. Amazing hotel.

Great loaction, easy 5 minute walk into the centre of town great views from room.

No fridge in the room. With eating out in Zermatt being very expensive, it would have been nice to have a fridge to store some snacks and drinks. Not a deal-breaker, though.
