“Here is a convenient, quite and comfortable place to stay near the northeastern shore of Lago Maggiore. A nicely restored stone building with a beautiful little garden for breakfast and a great view of the vineyards of Monti di Motti. We arrived on Sunday night and found a great Italian restaurant (Ristorante Rotonda👍👍) a few minutes walk from the lodging. The Host was cheerful and had a plentiful breakfast buffet prepared. The area is amazing and I'm sure we will return!”
“Our family of 3 had such a lovely stay at Casa Flora - it was the perfect base for exploring Locarno and the stunnung Verzasca valley and such kind hosts that went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay with a warm welcome, plenty of ideas about local trips, fruit and breakfast supplies. We cycled into Locarno, making the most of the bikes and Luciano and Matthias even helped us find a smaller bike to rent for our son. A wonderful place, highly recommended and very grateful to Luciano and family for their kindness and hospitality. Also super-convenient being only about 2mins walk from Godola train station, and around 10-15mins walk from the bus stop to the Verzasca valley. We had a lot of fun doing the BoBosca trail and walking over the 007 dam.”
“Luciano and his son Mathias are the perfect hosts. We got a warm welcome, completed with fruit, prosecco, and other delights.
The apartment was light and airy and had all the amenities we could dream of. We found all we needed for cooking. It was equipped for long stays, we missed nothing.

The train stops 2 minutes from the house. It took us 10 minutes to walk to the bus to Valle Versazca.
Locarno was 15 minutes by bicycle along the lake, but we could just as easily have jumped on the train or a bus.”
“The view is out of the world. Even after a hectic day of travel, the view made it all worth it. It was very well organised and everything we needed was available. There was plenty of space with 8 beds between the 5 of us. The washing machine, dishwasher, everything was well maintained. The place smelled of fresh grass and i instantly fell asleep on the comfy beds. The view at night is even more beautiful. The fact that we would have spent a few days here if we dint have other plans, explains how much we loved it here. I wish to come back here soon.”
“The room was clean and quiet. Because of our dog we booked room with a terace, but had a room with a balcony. But at the end it was ok.
Near to Locarno/Ascona and directly you could promenade by feed to climbing garden or to a little river - very nice and quiet”
