“Very unique experience, cosy little town. Prices were reasonable given the location and the fact you're staying in a medieval castle. Free castle- museum tour included. Excellent proximity to Bern and Interlaken.”
“We had a very pleasant stay. The staff were very helpful, and the hotel was ideally situated close to the train station where we needed to be. The room was quiet and the breakfast buffet had a lot of choice.”
“This is not my first stay at this Hotel, as a matter of fact, I am always staying here, when I have to be in Bern and surrounding area for business. The close distance to the Railway Station is important to me, as I prefer to go by train into the city, leaving the car at the Hotel. The rooms are very well equipped, with a great and comfortable bed, all of the usual amenities one comes to love in Swiss Hotels and a great bathroom. The cleanliness of the Hotel and the rooms is impeccable, as is the breakfast, exclusively stocked with high quality foods. As so often found in Switzerland, the staff is very professional and very friendly.”
“The flat was exactly as its name suggests — an old, rustic building, but full of charm. It’s conveniently located near the train station and a Coop supermarket. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, both during the day and at night. The owner was friendly, and the place was clean and well-maintained. Coffee, cutlery, and soap were provided. Thank you — we really enjoyed our stay! 😊”
“You don't have to be a princess or prince to enjoy sleeping in a fairy tale castle. And that's what it is, a fairy tale castle throning on a hill, overlooking the town of Burgdorf and the landscape. Some capable architects and interior designer have artfully adapted the castle to its new use. The modern interior and decoration fit very well into the century old structure. It was such a cool feeling to drive our vintage car over the drawbridge (no parking though, just unloading your luggage). The staff is friendly and attentive. The twin room was very comfortable even though a bit on the minimalistic side (no trashcan or wall hooks in the bathroom, no drinking glasses).
They also have an excellent breakfast buffet.”
