    “The apartment is very comfortable and equipped for families. The location is superb and the views are breathtaking. We had a great time eating dinner in the balcony with a backdrop of mountains and the marvellous sound of the cow bells. Totally recommend this place!”

    “Spacious appartment with plenty of room and facilities for a comfortable stay for a large family group with great views. Friendly owners live in same building and were happy to help when needed e.g. to show shared laundry facilities. Great mountain walks from the village and lake for swimming and activities in the valley below.”

    “Amden is a stunning town we were up quite high on the mountain but it was so worth the drive. Incredible views and trail walks to discover. It is a 10 minute drive to the closest shops which had pretty much everything we needed. You definitely need a car to get around otherwise the bus is easy to catch and somewhat reasonable. Grocery store, bakery, cafes etc. Very homely and colourful. Love the outdoor balcony. Daniel was very accommodating, nice guy. We felt like a true local in this quiet little slice of heaven.”

    “- It was the cheapest place I could find in Zurich area in July.... I know.. it's not close to Zurich, but you have to weigh the cost of driving vs the cost of staying, plus if you are planning on driving anyways, it won't matter that much. - Amden village is in the mountains, so if the weather is good the views can be very nice (it was pouring for 4 days so we didn't get to enjoy it unfortunately) - It is a clean, cosy, family-run little hotel, and the room was big enough to fit 2 adults and 2 kids... Savings are good... for those of us who are struggling to get to grips with how expensive Switzerland is... - The host is trying to be very friendly”
