Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaIs was kind of a pain to have to bring all the linens, towels, kitchen towels, all the bedding.
The cottage was spacious and comfortable. We hardly had to leave the resort because there is alot for the kids to do.

CanadaI liked everything very much, I was looking for a house where pets are allowed. We had a great time, the backyard is spacious, the children played constantly. My daughter really liked the pool, she never got out of it, and neither did my son. Thank you for a great vacation

United StatesI didn't realize the larger splash pad wouldn't be open during the week yet. Staff let us know it was open for weekends and starting late June would be open daily. The weather wasn't great for our stay so we didn't miss out but probably would have been disappointed had the weather been better for using it.
Our cottage was perfect for our family of 3. The trailer was immaculate and grounds were nicely kept. We enjoyed the in ground pool and playground!

CanadaEverything was perfect except we didn't have the right type of coffee for the coffeemaker on premise so we missed our coffee at breakfast. Suggestion for the host to include the type of coffeemaker in the details section of the booking page.
Awesome stay, great location surrounded by vineyards affording peace and quiet. Had all the necessary items for a pleasant stay we even had a firepit with the wood included. The reception office has some basic essential items for sale such as firewood, snacks, drinks and so on. There's no laundry inside the unit but there's a laundry room in a common area steps from the property. The property attendant was super helpful and friendly.

CanadaOur first cottage was terrible. Small, dark, smelled old. Couldn’t open blinds or windows. Very dated. Staff were so accommodating and offered us a new cottage. Night and day difference. So much better. We brought our own bed linens and towels but didn’t know we needed tp, paper towels dish cloths etc. as well. Kind of like camping. Glow in the dark dance night- the kids Loved it! So fun.
Great location in Niagara. Pools were open and clean. Not too busy. Cottage was clean and a nice size

CanadaThe biggest frustration was the lack of simple staples to make the unit functional - there was soap but nothing to wash the dishes with, a freezer but no ice cube trays etc. It is standard at this location that you bring your own sheets but know that means everything - bed sheets, pillow cases, bath towels and dish towels it seems. The main entry door lacked any window covering so there wasn't any privacy when you left the bathroom to enter the master. The mattress was incredibly uncomfortable and rolled us into each other. This little unit could be so much more with just a couple additions of some comfort items. We appreciate being able to stay there and the service that was provided by the staff was great :)
This is an adorable little property that offers a good amount of amenities - especially in the summer. We missed out on the large 'bird bath' type pool due to our time of year but the staff were wonderful. The price that we were able to secure through booking.com was far more reasonable than the additional $150 that we would have had to pay if we went through the resort's own site. The particular trailer we were in was adorable and offered what we needed for the evening - there was a queen bed in the master and 2 bunk beds with singles, a tiny RV style bathroom, a little kitchen table, fridge and kitchen, couch and TV with DVD player.

CanadaThe shower in the cottage had no hot water. The air conditioning did not work therefore the cottage was extremely hot with the weather being 28 degrees. One fan was provided so we just opened up all the windows and circulated the air. The bottom double bed on one of the bunk beds was missing a cushion to complete the bed. So we just used pillows to fill the gap. The chairs at the dining room table were broken.
The space itself was enough for the 5 of us. There was enough parking for 3 cars. Its location is very close to the NOTL downtown. And the wineries. The staff were pleasant and accommodating when we noticed we were missing something and they brought it for us. Beds were ok and provided us with what we needed for our one night stay. The cottage itself was clean and it was a bonus to have the outside furniture to enjoy the evening on. Bring your own lights to make your outside space a little more magical.

CanadaDidn’t have hot water to shower. I likely was supposed to flip a switch for that but by the time I were to figure that out it was getting close to check out. Maybe I missed that I had to do that in the description. Had to flip the breaker switch for the air conditioning as well, it would have been great if those were done before we arrived. Unit needs a bit more toilet paper. I would have brought my own if I had realized I needed to. Definitely pack some extra. Also a hand towel for drying hands in the bathroom is needed from home, or a roll of paper towel. You need to bring your own bedding which is understandable.
Easy check in, nice and spacious (in comparison to a hotel room. Has the comforts of home. Full size fridge, stove, microwave, dishes, kettle, toaster, kitchen table, couch.
