Security fuctions were archaic. Very little movement in the street with low security made me feel insecure. I would recommend cameras outside and a fob key pass. Improved lightning in the main entrance and seating for guests in transition would provide more comfort.

Using a regular key to get in the front door to the lobby was Interesting. I understand they are looking to update to a better system.

Breakfast was not included. A/C was very effective and easy to adjust. My room still needed some cosmetic renos but was clean and comfortable.

I felt very uncomfortable the whole time. The front door to the premises was locked, then once inside the staff weren't aware of my booking and I was getting the feeling they weren't a real hotel? I'm not sure if anyone else was staying there, it was eerily quiet. I don't think my room had been stayed in for a while- the water out of the bath ran brown for a while. I couldn't drink the water it smelt so strongly of chlorine.

The location was easy to find, on Main Street.

Cold shower, one super light blanket and great amount of light comes threw window blind. Fine location on main.

The emergency exit to the back parking was screw shut. The blanket on the bed was a duvet cover no duvet in it. The windows didn’t lock. The shower curtain was dirty. The tv didn’t work the first day. There was something splattered on the wall. No cream or sugar for the coffee. There was no one at the front desk to check in or out. Had to find someone in the restaurant next door.

A surprise $50 pet fee. I expected a pet fee but that is more than double what I have ever paid anywhere else.

Bad soundproofing, you will hear your neighbors and everything in the corridor or at the street.

Unexpectedly good value for money. It was a clean room with basic appliances. The bed was big and clean. I enjoyed staying here for one night during my occasional road trip. Check-in/out was smooth and simple. Also parking is available.

No water glasses. No A/c which was apart in the shower. On a noisy Main Street with limited soundproof. Old style cheap hotel with minimal upgrades. It served its purpose.

I worked in high-end hotels for many years, the rooms are newly renovated. Although this is a really really old building, they've done an amazing job. I did find some deficiencies. I gave the manager some good feedback as all this stuff is newly installed.

It is a Great Location and the love the History of this building and the tie in to the Gold Rush trail. The Rooms were well updated and comfortable. Spacious bathrooms.

Showed up and found out check-in is 4pm,but even at 4pm our room wasn't ready till almost 5pm,that wasn't a good start.

Room was not equipped as per our booking and took them several hours to provide what we were expecting, eg Fridge. Switching on two things at once tripped the fuses, meaning further hassle while that was sorted out.

Location, and staff were friendly. I hope they will be able to raise standards as they get settled in better as the new owners.

Waited 2 hours for our room no internet for the entire stay kitchenette no proper tools pans were disgusting staff sneared at us when we first came to hotel no elevator with a million stairs 😑

Centrally located on Main Street through historic town. Hotel is in historic building but recently renovated. Spacious room with kitchenette. On site pub and curry house, but latter was closed. Patio dining with good food across the street at the Lillooet Cookhouse. The drive to Lillooet from Clinton on Highway 12 and on to Lytton goes through dramatic scenery along the Fraser River.
