We stayed here for the labour day weekend and absolutely loved the cabin. It was spotless and comfortable and the mountain views were amazing,even saw the milky way at night. Brandy was a wonderful host. She had already kept breakfast items in the fridge and it was nice to have them since we got to golden late and didnt have time to grocery shop first. Also,gave us tips on how to plan our trip. The cabin also had a good selection of Dvds,games,bear spray etc. Loved our stay here!

We liked everything. This was a perfect end to our very busy Canada trip. The view was amazing - I could have sat and watched the changing light on the mountains all day. The cabin was spotless and really comfortable and had everything we needed. Lovely owners and very helpful with ideas of where to go.

It didn't bother us, but some might like watching television. We found their puzzles, games and our quiet reading & reflecting to be more than adequate compensation for a lack of tv watching. DVDs were provided, but we didn't use these. There was a small step up to the bathroom, but a nightlight was thoughtfully provided so that even us oldies could manage the step during the night.

This cabin-stay exuded the perfect ambience for a visit to the Canadian Rockies. We loved our 5 nights here. Golden was a terrific base for touring in all directions: Emerald Lake to the east; Revelstoke to the west; Radium Hot Springs to the south; and Kicking Horse nearby. Brandy was a terrific hostess. She made sure that we had everything we needed to make our visit comfortable. We loved the fabulous views in all directions and the changing sunlight and weather each day on the mountain panorama view.

Everything was perfect.

This cottage is fabulous and Brandy is an exceptional host. The cottage is spacious for a couple. The bedroom has a nice king sized bed. The couch is super comfy and positioned to watch the sunset over the mountains. The kitchen is well stocked. As others have said, Brandy provided us eggs, bagels, milk, butter and a bottle of wine when we arrived. Plenty of cooking supplies too. We loved that it was on a hillside away from town. We hiked in Yoho NP and Glacier NP. Great location right between the two parks. I loved this place.

We LOVED our stay! Communication was excellent before and during our stay. The unit was spotless and we were welcomed with a bottle of wine and ingredients for a great breakfast. And did I mention the view? Spectacular!

Branding was a great hist. The pla e is spotlessly clean and a welcome pack of eggs, bread, butter, milk and a very welcome bottle of wine is in the fridge! Plus oils, vinegar fir salad dressing, tea, coffee etc etc. Would definitely stay again...

The cabin was absolutely beautiful inside and out. Brandy was an amazing host and prepared well for our visit. She stocked the fridge with goodies for breakfast as well as a bottle of wine. We'll definitely be returning.

We really enjoyed the stay. The place was so clean and tidy. The owner is super nice, we got recommendations where to hike and there was vine and breakfast for first day. I would easily say that 10 rating is low to how awesome the stay was. There are even games you can play if the weather doesnt work out. Huge bed and nice shower.

Home away from home. Property is immaculate and wonderfully equipped with absolutely everything you would need in a mountain cabin. We looked forward to returning to our cabin after every hike in Yoho and Banff national parks. Excellent hosts.

Bed was okay but pillows were a bit on the soft side. We stayed during a hot spell and unfortunately the chalet got quite hot in the evening. Could do with a new fan as current one doesn't really work that well and was very noisy. Also some division (maybe a curtain) between the bedroom and living space would have improved the bedroom's darkness in the early morning and made it more comfortable. This being said we still had a wonderful stay, it was a very unique experience and we thoroughly enjoyed our evenings on the porch!

Location was fab, view was incredible and it was nice to be somewhere quiet. It was a well managed property and well equipped with amenities. The host Brandy was very helpful with tourist tips for good activities locally. The chalet itself was a charming little space and the shower was excellent.
