Wonderful Experience. Owner/Hostess was so lovely and creative. Everything including decor was colorful, thoughtfully put together and fitting to her theme. Very nice linens. She also made creative breakfast dishes, different each morning. The views from the balconies and comfortable shared lounging areas were fantastically awe inspiring. Best B & B in which I have ever stayed.!!!!

    Bed was a little hard.

The host Brandy was super friendly and helped us with our planning a lot. The place has a beautiful view and is very clean. The room is spacious and the common area cozy. The homemade breakfast was delicous.

It's a bit of a drive into town.

First of all, the view is just gorgeous!! We stayed for one night and enjoyed the sunset on the patio. We liked Brandy very much, she is truly the great host who cares about everyone there. The cleanness is exceptional! Better than in any hotel. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast is very tasty and feels like home. We had a really good time and will definitely come back but for a few nights!

The breakfasts were delicious and gourmet. The back deck has a lovely view of the mountains and it was the perfect place to unwind after a long day of touring. The owner was warm and friendly and so knowledgeable of the area. She was able to make recommendations and provide advice. Her lively stories and conversations made our breakfasts and stay so enjoyable. We can not recommend this B&B enough. It felt like we stayed with family.

This place is absolutely stunning - the location and view are breathtaking; the accommodation is spacious and extremely comfortable. We loved our room and the balcony and also all the communal areas - especially the balcony with a view you could watch for hours with the addition of humming birds darting around you. Brandy, the host, is warm, generous, informative, kind, helpful and an excellent chef - breakfasts were extraordinary. We loved everything about this place - excellent location for exploring the area, especially Yoho National Park. Golden is minutes away by car (you obviously do need a car) and has plenty of cafes and restaurants. A total delight. ❤️

    Absolutely nothing to dislike.

From the 10 plus places I stayed at on my Canada trip, this was by far the best. The hostess Brandy was absolutely amazing and we had wonderful conversations. The pictures from the properties don't accurately show how beautifully located on a hillside it is, so the property exceeded my expections. Likewise the pictures of the rooms are a bit dated, but in reality the room was very spacious and well maintained. The sunsets from the deck were absolutely stunning and golden, pun intended.

In the room there some rules about night time showers to avoid noise to other rooms, which at times forced me to adapt.

We loved Brandi's outstanding service, her warmth, her great advice and of course the wonderful breakfast. It really felt like a home away from home. It was 100% spotlessly clean and very cozy. The view from the balcony was wonderful and the communal space very convenient. Sleeping with the windows open at night, hearing the birds in the forest was just so so nice! We would love to come back!!

    Absolutely nothing.

Brandy is a warm, attentive host who truly makes you feel welcome. Her breakfasts are exceptional—thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious, just as many reviewers have noted. We stayed in the Forestview Room, which was cozy and comfortable. The mattress provided a great night’s sleep, and the fan kept the room perfectly cool even in the summer. No issues at all—just a restful, quiet stay. One of the unexpected joys of the lodge is the inviting common areas. You may find yourself chatting with fellow travelers over breakfast. We were lucky enough to meet a lovely elderly couple from Tennessee—our chats with them added something memorable to the trip. During our first night, it rained quite heavily, which likely contributed to an uptick in mosquitoes in the area. It didn’t take away from the experience at all, but if you're visiting during the summer, we recommend bringing insect repellent like OFF! and some After Bite ointment—just in case. Of course, this is entirely out of the lodge’s control and more of a general mountain travel tip. And then there’s the balcony—with sweeping mountain views, it’s the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. Peaceful, scenic, and serene—exactly what we were looking for. We’ll definitely be returning and hope to make this our home base the next time we’re exploring the Canadian Rockies.

Brandy, the owner and long time B&B host and former chef, fixed an amazing breakfast both mornings. She also gave us a spectacular recommendation for dinner in town. Our guest room was bigger than we thought it would be based upon the pictures. Brandy was very friendly and helpful, but also gave us space when that was appropriate. There is a spectacular view across the valley to the snow capped mountains. We would definitely go there again.
