How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Breakfast options have gone downhill since I first started staying here 5-5 years ago. Used to have bagels or English muffins - now white bread only. Used to have 2 muffin choices - now only 1 and half size. No fruit choices. Only 1 kind of yogurt.

Front desk check in. We waited at least 10 minutes. Went to look for someone, she was not happy when she came to front after we asked if anybody was here. She was not pleasant.

Dust in corners. Had to clean built up dust out of AC vent for it to blow cooler.

The chair in the room was torn and so old that it detracted from the overall upkeep of the room.

We use a white noise machine when we travel to block out loud noises. The motel is near the Trans Canada Highway and a busy highway off ramp which made the white noise a wise choice .

My friend and I were pleasantly surprised, the room was a good size, the beds were very comfy, the staff were pleasant, and we enjoyed a little breakfast before we left and it was nice that breakfast was until 10 am and not 9 like a lot of other places, our only complaint would be that they needed to dust the higher up things like the ceiling fan, I don't want to turn on the fan and have dust flying around the room but that's it, it was a great experience and I only paid $100 for the night

Breakfast was very basic—no eggs, sausage or even bagels. I never did get the TV working—got the impression the desk clerk spends a lot of time doing the tech support on that for guests, but I didn’t want to bother her, just used my iPad. They should have a printed booklet advising where to get food, drink, live music etc in Fredericton—and how to make the TV connect.
Rooms are very well up to date, not dingy and old like you might expect from a budget accommodation. Good bathroom. Rooms feel very secure, with good key cards and both exterior and interior doors for convenience. Staff friendly and helpful. Pet friendly (is the upcharge really necessary?) WiFi is good, which is fortunate (see negatives)

A little noise my neighbor.
Great value for this hotel, almost perfect . The only complain what I can make is the noise of neighbor. Almost as a 4 star hotel , even better as a 4 star they don't give you breakfast .

Cell phone signal was non-existent. Had to go to the lobby/breakfast nook and find the ONE spot that could pick up a signal. Less than ideal.

There was a disturbance in the middle of the night at the room next to ours, to which police responded. This was not really the motel’s fault, obviously. I was glad that either the staff or another guest got it taken care of.
