We appreciated having an apartment with a well equipped kitchen nice deck good parking and generally comfortable and well located. The staff were friendly and very understanding of our requests to get our surf boards in and out of their storage.

Road facing room was loud on Friday night with partying at MAQ across the street.

Spotlessly clean, friendly service, huge well-equipped kitchen. Felt more like an apartment than a room. Comfortable bed and linens. Thoughtful amenities, everything you could need. Peekaboo water views from balcony, convenient to get around, close to shops and restaurants.

Absolutely nothing

Absolutely amazing property. We stayed in room 3 and it was very spacious for 3 adults, clean and very comfortable. The view was breathtaking. I loved waking up every morning to the mountains and sea from my bed. It’s an excellent location, close to all of Tofino. Very quiet considering it’s located next to a port. Definitely recommend staying there. You won’t regret it.

Great location right on the water and dock. You can watch seaplanes take off from the deck. Beds were very comfortable. Nice small kitchenette is fully stocked with silverware, pots, dishes, and even a toaster.

An amazing view of the harbour and close to all the amenities. We also very much enjoyed the indigenous art prints on the walls of our space, and the art gallery downstairs with the same focus (I ended up buying a very nice piece to take back home with me). Easy check in at gallery and a quiet place to stay... very comfy beds!

I could not have asked for more help on my arrival, My son and I arrive early with a large vehicle and a really nice guy welcomed us and went above and beyond beyond to help with parking/recommendations….

Wow. Simply Wow. Friendly hotel, with clean comfortable rooms, including kitchenette, nice bathroom, and the very best view I've ever experienced from a hotel balcony in many years of global travel. First-Nations-Owned , it's good to be investing in the local community. We stayed in a "Standard Suite". They also offer a discount on the fabulous First-Nations-owned "Ahous Adventures" for Whale, Sea-lion and Bear watching trips combined with a light touch of cultural insights. There's also a good choice of restaurants and bars in Tofino, and easy hikes along the Tonquin trail to the Pacific beaches. If this is the only life-time trip you'll ever be able to make to Tofino, then you couldn't make a better choice than Himwitsa.

Lots of late night revelers and loud band into late night/early morning across the street. Make sure to ask for a room away from that!
