Such a cool place to stay and explore!

It was a truly unique and amazing experience. This place is much more than just a hotel. When booking, we didn’t expect much, considering the moderate price for such a remarkable landmark property and its obviously noisy location. However, it turned out to be a genuinely historical site, featuring one of the richest private museum collections we've seen in Canada. I recommend setting aside at least three hours to explore the 'Ghost Town.' I especially enjoyed the library in the hall, the gardens, the beach, and other hotel facilities.

Wish we had a bit more time to go out on the kayaks! I heard there were rumours the place was haunted so kinda freaked me out but it was actually fine, no issues!

The location was great as we were driving through from Alberta to the Okanagan. The property was nice, right on the lake. We used the pool which was fine. The restaurant on site was good.

It’s older and some spaces have not been well maintained. Beds were lower quality and not overly comfortable. Common spaces were hot, and the heat was even on in one hallway making it very warm.

The grounds, building need major work. Upkeep seems to not be existent. Larger and better tv channels would be nice.

Views are awesome. Good location, not to far from Revelstoke and Sicamous. Room was good size. Beds were comfortable.

Rooms are now a bit faded glory and could be updated. No usb sockets or air-conditioning etc. Nearby road is very noisy..

Loved the ghost town and railway museum on.site. We had visited 36 years before. Gardens and views are stunning.. restaurant staff lovely.. watchbout for the kountsin goats above.

Just sad to see someone's vision and hardwork being let go by the new/younger family members. Who obviously don't care. I'm sure in the not too distant past the place was prestine. Now it reflects a total lack of caring.

The bed in our room was worn and not comfortable. No air-conditioning which meant we had to sleep with the patio door open, but then you hear all the road noise from the highway. In the end my wife an I did not sleep well on our stay over.

We really liked the resort. It is on a lake and has nice gardens and a cool historical village you can visit. I also enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

The main highway is right in front of it so if you’re not used to the noise bring earplugs.

The restaurant served broth for soup and their special of the day as far a soup goes was a bust. I had a side caser salad as well and a beer, which was nice and filling because I ate later then normal.

Room was spacious and cozy for a single traveler. I liked the option to park out front and walk through the building to get to my room as I only brought a back pack to stay overnight. The pool and hot tub were fantastic but the restaurant left something to be desired. I enjoyed the ghost town at an early hour and I was the only one present the entire time, made the experience extra special and no, I did not see any ghosts wandering around on my own.
