Very tired furniture and bathroom fittings. Lifts terrible. Long wait and being on 16th floor had to wait a long time for a lift to arrive. A notice does say lift improvement on the way, but when? Check in not very welcoming and check out even worse eg no one asked if we enjoyed our stay, were we happy with facilities etc. Just given invoice with no conversation, not even a goodbye!

There is not enough storage space in the room. A chest of drawers for clothes would be ideal. We were on the 23rd floor and it took a very long time for the water in the shower to get warm. The elevator situation is very poor. Often, only one elevator is running, which is usually overloaded. That's a bit scary. Once, we even had to walk all the way down from the 23rd floor because no elevator came for more than 15 minutes. The air conditioning in the room could be better: it is very loud and not very effective. It was always very stuffy in the room, especially at night. The rooms are very noisy because the door does not close soundproof.

The location and view were excellent. All major attractions are within walking distance. Very friendly and courteous staff. Very good breakfast buffet with a wide selection and variety. Beds are large and comfortable. Very clean. Big rooms.

Elevators were under maintenance. Only 2 of 5 worked. After 15 minutes for an elevator that wasn’t full, the very lovely cleaning lady brought us to the service elevator. Waited another 10 minutes there because many other groups were also being redirected there. Staff was amazingly wonderful. Maybe only work on one elevator at a time?

Beautiful room, bed and pillows were amazing. My 5 hours of sleep felt like 12! We didn’t book a water view but got to see it from the side of the window and it was beautiful! Staff was amazingly wonderful!!

Parking is overpriced at 65 CAD per day (before tax), while many nearby options cost less than half. The rooms and bathrooms feel dated, with worn furniture and fabrics, and the pool/play area also needs a refresh. The biggest issue is the elevators: staying on the 33rd floor meant constant delays, as most of them were frequently out of service.

Perfectly located in the heart of Toronto. The hotel is comfortable and well equipped, but what truly makes the difference is the service: the staff, especially the cleaning team, is exceptionally attentive and makes the stay genuinely pleasant.

The elevators! Seriously, just rip them out and replace them with anything. After working in various hospitality roles in my lifetime, even in the hotel industry, my only complaint for this hotel (besides forced valet..ugh) is having to wait forever for an elevator. I can't remember what floor my room was on (11th?), but I was tempted to take the stairs multiple times.

The beds are amazing! My wife deals with insomnia, and I was stressed about a convention, but both of us slept really well, though. All of the staff were extremely friendly. The hotel was quiet, despite hosting multiple events during our stay.

On our last night at 4am fire alarm has woken us up and all other guests, it was so loud, we got so scared, more from the sound than from the possibility of fire, even had to take medicine to calm down. It was going on and on and it took for them too much time to check on that and switch it off. So our night was ruined as we didn't know if to leave our room or not. I understand the safety concerns but it was purely handled by the management. Later we were informed that it was the prank from one of the guests. I hope that person was taken care of by the authorities.

We loved the view to the lake from our room, beds are so comfy, room is clean, and breakfast is just awesome, it was really the best breakfast I've ever had at any hotel. Staff are really helpful and attentive to details.

When we entered the room we found two bottles of water beside coffee machine, one that had been opened and about a third gone, the other full. Obviously they had not been checked during cleaning….

Elevators were very quick. Lake view was great. Bed was comfortable. Service was fantastic in the bar as well as throughout the hotel.
