Right by the river. Small property very clean and the hostess was awesome. It’s a bit dated, but they just took it over and are making improvements. Bed was very comfortable and all the right stuff was there for me. Huge yard with play set for kids to play and dogs to roam.

The bathroom could use updates especially the tub/shower. Train and highway noise.

This place feels like home. It’s great for dogs and kids, there’s a small play park and lots of room to run. The rooms are spacious, simple and basic but everything you need. Location next to the river is beautiful. Lots of satellite channels and good wifi, beds are comfy, and Diana is a very friendly and accommodating host. My new favourite place to stay between Edmonton and Vancouver.

Not something they can fix, but be aware that the place is located directly beside the highway. If that is a problem for you perhaps ask for a room around the side of the building.

Breakfast was very good. Generous portions. The new owners are doing their best to improve the accommodations. A nice place for an overnight stay.

Diana was very welcoming. The room was clean and well supplied with fridge, microwave, coffee maker, basic dishes, etc. The bed was comfortable and noise from the highway was much less noticeable than anticipated.

5-extremely busy Hummingbird feeders at the front of the building, lots of Zinnia flowers.. A real homey feel to the property

The hot water varied so it was cold one minute and hit the next Older people need to be careful, as the cleaning products made the bath slippery Blackout curtains would be a wonderful addition

I loved the way Diana was excited to see us back for another stay, she was very excited to host us and the room was so amazing that i would have loved to live there for long if I didn't have to come back to normal life and work. I'll visit again for sure ❤️

The hot and cold taps were reversed from what we would normally expect. This is more of observation than a complaint however.

The proprietors recently acquired the property and staff it themselves. One of them even presented a small boquet of wildflowers for us when we arrived. They have updated the decor with a new paint job and modern flooring and fixtures in the bathroom. This is a quaint motel with an adjoining campsite just off the highway. It offers a family feel in a picturesque setting.

First time there, will likely stay again. It’s charming, great price, lovely location on the Thompson River, despite the highway noise, but that drops off at night. New owners were friendly, checked in with us on departure. She indicated they have some minor work to do. It is an older building, but very comfortable and very clean, love the hand-stitched bed quilts and the ceramic tea cups and saucers - a lovely touch. Our room needs bedside lamps for each bed.

There’s a portable wall unit in the room but I wouldn’t describe it as air conditioning more like a fan. The room got very warm.

Very clean and tidy motel. They are slowly making improvements as they just purchased in May. Our room was spacious and clean. The grounds are well kept as if you are pulling a trailer trailer the stalls are super spacious and campsite area is too. Playground area for younger children and can also fish from the bank if you want. Yes you hear noise from highway, welcome to BC campsites but air conditioning running it’s fine

Towels could be better quality, very close to the highway-lots of traffic noise, some areas still need updating.

Very welcoming and comfortable. Comfortable beds. Spacious rooms. Large outdoor area for dogs. Property is right on the river! Well equipped kitchenette. Diana the hostess is very sweet.
