Staff members seemed unprepared to do their jobs. Confused, slow. Carpets in hallways seemed quite unclean. Elevator is located on opposite side of building from lobby. Quite noisy, but this was during Stampede week, so partying was to be expected. Police were in the lobby and hallways for quite a time with no explanation or reassurance.

The TV did not power on, until the next morning when I realized I needed to turn on an obscure light sconce, which also provided power to the TV. Fortunately it was a very warm evening, so the noisy AC unit provided good background noise and I did not need to use the heavier blanket that was stuffed, not folded, onto the top shelf in the open closet. There was not hair dryer, nor was there coffee available, nor a breakfast option, which one would expect at the price I paid.

For the most part the hotel was clean, but very, very tired. The staff were friendly, and during Stampede prices in most hotels skyrocket to beyond reasonableness rates. This hotel was not a first choice, but the price was right with last minute vacancy. Rooms are typical of a budget friendly hotel.

I understand that this is a 2-star hotel, so my expectations were aligned with that level in terms of furniture and amenities. However, my concern is with the cleanliness. The floors and hallways were noticeably unclean. At one point, I came across a pile of towels left on the hallway floor. While I assume they were dirty and awaiting collection, it still gave the impression of poor housekeeping standards. Additionally, a discarded Subway package remained in the hallway for the entirety of my stay, which reinforced that impression. For 160 cad A night I expected a cleaner place.

The towels were dirty! One wash cloth was black like it had a grease stain and a few towels looked like someone had brushed their make up on them and hadn’t even been washed! It was disgusting! They charged my card after it had already been charged through booking.com and when I brought it up the next morning she didn’t believe me and refused to look at the transaction on my phone and took like 5 mins looking it up. Eventually I got it back. She was not very professional in her manner with other people that were standing at the desk near me which made me uncomfortable. The beds were also hard and thank got we brought our own extra blanket because all there was, was a sheet and a thin blanket on top of that which was no way enough!! The room also smelled like smoke when we first got there and it’s a non smoking room..

Many areas of the hotel including my room smelled of cigarette smoke. State of general disrepair in the hotel and in the room including: very stained carpets on a staircase and in some hallway areas, some ripped carpet and a small indentation in the floor of the room, side table not fully attached to the base, unattached cable base plate, stained bathtub, and a super loud bathroom fan. Not remotely worth $107 for the night including tax!

Friendly staff with quick check in. Really good location. Liked the big ice machine!

The building is very old. The room was dirty and old as well. There are a lot of stains on the floor and beds. We found a lot of dark long hairs on beds and white powder on the table. Switchers were broken. Pictures of the room were taken from best angle and light that hide all mess and oldness.

There are a few places for food around the hotel that open 24 hours. Location is good close to the airport and main streets. A lot of parking lots.

The older woman was a grump, we called at about 9AM and asked if possible if we could get in abit earlier and was told probably after 11:30 when we arrived she was just bitter and she said check in time was after 2-3, so came back after 6 with a intention of cleaning up quickly and get to a family reservation at 7 and she says you’ll have to wait for 20 minutes as they are just doing bookings so had discussions and younger one got us our room, when we went through lobby latter she was having another altercation with another party wanting to register, just a bad first impression.

The room was clean but not excellent,was no breakfast offered,room was fine for the price.

Our initial room had not been cleaned, didn't have all working bulbs or a properly working toilet. The receptionist immediately moved us to a perfectly acceptable room so no complaints. The neighborhood felt sketchy, but we had no issues, and it was convenient to our destination.

The place we ended up in was perfectly respectable, clean and comfortable. I feel like the owners are working to provide a better experience with some renovated rooms. I can support and get behind that.

They don't offer a breakfast for the price we paid. Rooms are not clean. Very tidy, needs to update everything, make your hotel clean always, and update your hotel in order to gain more customers. You are paying this much but the services and cleanliness of the hotel is very poor. You can hear the noise from the other room. No coffee machine in the room, they don't come clean the room unless you told them. Pillow and blankets are not changed. You can see the mess in the hallway all the way to the back when you go.to the elevator. Very tidy.
