How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

No cups not even plastic ones , extractor fan in bathroom not working hence set of alarm which was hanging off wall . Different name on outside of building very confusing 🫤

It was harder to find because of all the construction however that doesn’t fall on the hotel itself. I think it’s important people should know for future bookings during construction season.
While checking in and checking out the both staff members were very nice. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable.

Credit card hold but I get it.
The two front desk people were lovely and amazing. The evening staff helped with a laundry situation. While the outside was dated everything was clean, updated, and well kept inside.

At first, the rooms got confusing when we were booked into the wrong one, but luckily we did not have to move which was nice. Also, there was no remote for the tv in our room which made us have to use our phones more but that’s okay!
It was super easy for check in and the visit was quite pleasant. It was right in the middle of a lot of amenities that we wanted to visit like the mall and not too far from a drive from the CommonWealth stadium.

Inn had recently changed its name to “Lodge Inn” but the main sign on the building still showed the old name. Made it difficult to find. Stony Plain Road - main roadway in front of the Inn - is presently under major reconstruction, causing problems accessing the Inn.

The room was exceptionally clean and had a modern esthetic- newly renovated.The staff aim to please and accomodate.The location is close to downtown and the west end. Parking is in the front parking lot. There is 24 hour security. Being in an urban setting, there are homeless people about. There is a restaurant/lounge down stairs but it only opens at 10 am. An oft recommended Vietnamese Restaurant is straight north several blocks - Pho Bhin Don. As a solo traveller, often working on buisness during the evening, just wanting a great space and a comfortable sleep, I recommend a stay here.

My whole floor partied and made noise until at least 4am. Fighting. Yelling etc I couldn't believe what was going on
Nothing. No view. My whole FLOOR WAS PARTYING AND ARGUING ALL NIGHT UNTIL AT LEAST 5 AM. HORRIBLE. COMPLETELY HORRIBLE

Even though we knew they required a credit card. My car rental put $600 hold on my CC and I wasn't able to pay the deposit. Thankfully I had another card to use. But come on this isn't the Sheraton 5 star hotel and I get that CCs are a good way to keep the rift raft out. But why not use other alternatives like debit or cash deposit?? I would have been homeless for a night had I not had another card. This place was a dump.
It was centrally located with many restaurants nearby.

When I arrived, I noticed the washroom exhaust fan was not working. I reported this to the reception and requested a room change, but the receptionist informed me that none of the exhaust fans working in this hotel . This was a very bad experience.

Cleanliness
The hotel is unbelievable for the price. That’s the only reason I went back there. Best value for money. They should try and get disposable plastic cups in the rooms.
