The in-room guide goes into detail about guests being able to request different size of robes and that you only needed to request by SMS if you needed different, however the experience did not match this. The SMS failed so called reception who apologised that they only had one size available. The biggest concern was the noise ! Very bad at night, constant rumbling from building AC units (not in room system) and the local trains passing though Banff honk their very loud horns throughout the night, my wife has very good noise cancelling ear plugs but still could not sleep with the noise. Why hotels of this calibre and price point do not have better sound insulation I do not know and would be the reason I would probably stay in Canmore where I stayed previously and did not have this issue.

The location of this hotel was perfect, central to banff with views of the idyllic mountains. We stayed in a premium king suite which was spacious, well appointed and beautiful decorated. The spa area was beautiful and we had it ourselves for most of the time when we used it which was amazing and like having a private spa.

A minor point: The room was very spacious, but the bathroom was a bit small and there was no place to hang towels, etc. which made it a little inconvenient. However, the bathrooms did seem to be newly renovated and super clean which more than made up for this! I would definitely stay here again :)

Amazing location (few minute walk from downtown, close to where the tour buses pick up), super convenient parking, and friendly staff! The rooms seem to be newly renovated so they're fitted with really nice/modern fixtures, appliances, etc. Would 100% recommend staying here if you're ever visiting Banff!

Our only quibble was the tiny bathroom situation and lack of hooks/shelves even for hand towels. Also the art was, lets just say, ultra-modern Nordic (brown canvas squares basically). Not to my taste, but that's a small thing.

Newer and very comfortable hotel. The pool/Nordic spa was the highlight, it was a beautiful and tranquil setting with everything you needed. We did not use the restaurant (it looked nice, with fires outdoors), and breakfast options appeared very limited, however the coffee and tea set-up in room were excellent, and the location is just right - close to everything in Banff, on bus routes, but not in the middle of the busiest intersections.

It’s hard to pinpoint one thing we enjoyed about our stay. From the staff greeting us at the desk, to the excellence in every detail. Right down to a toaster in the rooms! The Nora Spa and Fat Ox restaurant were beyond our expectations. We have stayed in Banff many times and never found an experience like this. The spa areas in other hotels, even the Moose hotel aren’t even comparable to the Nora spa at the Kenrick. Everything was perfect and honestly one of the best stays we have ever had. We can’t wait to return!

The Kenrick Hotel is a new and charming boutique hotel located perfectly along Banff Ave. Interiors are well-designed and thoughtful; attention to detail quite obvious. Loved the colors, furniture, bed, and overall feel of the hotel and the room. The staff were attentive and helpful...special mention to Mark and the staff who assisted us with our luggage down the stairs. Would definitely stay again!

Don’t pay up for the room with “mountain view”. The pictures are deceiving and you see more of the main street in front of the window than the mountains in the background. Personally, with the description and photos here on booking I assumed a view out the back and more privacy.

The lobby smelled of chlorine from the pool I assume. Our room smelled of heavy cleaning products each day, but went away when we aired it out. Considerable construction noise during the day outside our back door which was right above the dumpster. The staff hung out there each night, talking loudly in the back alley outside our door between 10-11 p.m. keeping us awake. We were on the 3rd floor but still very loud. In hindsight we should have requested for another room and staff might have accommodated us, but hotel was fully booked.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Went out of their way to help us with reservations and directions. The room was very clean and comfortable. Nice, modern ammenities. We appreciated the free parking and the great location. Although the pool was closed, we enjoyed the jacuzzi.

This was a really overrated hotel. Yes boutique style but the shower was small and the fact that the wash hand basin wasn't even in bathroom, but in bedroom was weird. There was no places to put things, and all in all poorly designed. The food situation was the next door restaurant which was nice but again not actually in the hotel.
