Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomI don’t care for casinos and branded overpriced restaurants (Gordon Ramsey steak house) and there was no designated breakfast restaurant. I had to order from the bar on the 3rd. Carrying bags up stairs is not ideal either.
Great location for airport. I had an overnighter before going back to arrivals to pick up a rental car for a road trip. The bar on the 3rd floor of the main building was the highlight - excellent salmon and a nice pale ale. Staff were friendly.

CanadaLocation is great. We are transiting from YVR to Victoria. It is a perfect connecting spot with Skytrain station and bus terminal to the Ferries there. There's an authentic Cantonese restaurant just beside the hotel. And one can always find something to eat in the Casino's food court till 3am if they arrive via a late flight.

AustraliaThe staff is unfriendly and appears to be from a regimented or government service office. Not sure they were annoyed by our presence. There's no view from the room, which is a bit disappointing.
The transportation is closer, and the train to the airport is very close. The room was very good and spacious. Toilets were good. Liked the coffee.

CanadaWe asked about room upgrades seem like we got blowed off when the person ahead of us got one… probably because of us having kids. I asked for help with something for my daughter for her birthday and had no help.
Great for kids and adults I almost always make good money at the river rock!

CanadaStaff is extremely helpful and accommodating and friendly as heck, which is so nice. Location is convenient to the Skytrain to get anywhere needed and also one of the quieter spots I’ve found for a Vancouver hotel as long as you don’t mind the plane traffic above which we actually loved

New ZealandLack of good food options. We tried to get into Gordon Ramseys, but were told we needed to make a reservation..apparently they dont take walk ins and it wasnt even full. I didn't want to commit to a time because though I had arrived from Montreal around 5pm, my husband wasn't getting in from another part of the country until after 8pm and I wasn't sure how tired he would be. However they told me earlier they would be open till about 10.30pm so I thought if we got there by 9pm at the earliest we would have time to eat something ..and we weren't planning on a big 3 course meal..something light and fairly quick was our thought! Very disappointed as we don't have a Gordon Ramsey Restaurant in NZ would have been an exceptional finale to the end of a long trip away from home. The only other options were Chinese pizza and burgers all of were closed ( except Chinese)by the time we had had, only one drink at the only bar that appeared available in the casino ( of which we were not interested) . The other restaurant was closed also. Very disappointing for such a large resort.
Great location for the airport. Easy to get to and from the airport on the skytrain.

United KingdomWe booked this hotel because it was close to the airport for convenience but were very pleasantly surprised at how nice and large it was. The room was very nice with two large beds, and a bonus for me the pillows were soft. If you into casino's there is a nice one across the walkway, with a food court.
