We had a lake view room and the scenery was amazing. I had mentioned the purpose of the visit - birthday celebration. We were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of Prosecco and small cake awaiting us.

What an amazing hotel! The staff are amazing, the location is beautiful, we had a room over looking the lake and the view was like a painting! Restaurants have lovely food. If you are visiting Lake Louise I wouldn’t recommend staying anywhere else, we could enjoy the lake at our own pace once most of the day visitors have left and the hotel organises shuttles just for guests to other popular sites like Moraine Lake for a reasonable price.

would have been nice to have after hours room service with more variety. Getting around the hotel can be complicated more signs or a map would be helpful.

The guides pantry was really under stocked, and understaffed for the morning crowds with long lines daily for takeaway breakfast, however $16 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches were always available. The daily resort fees were a bit of a joke. Only 6 people out of many hundreds staying per day can book into the mixology class.

The only downside was the very small bathroom.

View, location, staff, and amenities were lovely! Amazing stay. Everyone went above and beyond. Restaurants like Wallister Stube and Lakeview Lounge were so great -- food and the staff. You're right on the lake to do a sunrise canoe or hike some trails.

The guy on reception to lake view bar and restaurant was very abrupt and almost rude in how he spoke to us not only once while we waited to be seated for drinks, but also when we walked through the bar to exit from the patio and frogmarched us rudely back through the restaurant. The whole experience was extremely embarrassing

Fantastic location and our server Evan in the Fairview bar was absolutely amazing, attentive and extremely helpful and made our experience 10/10!!!!

I expected a front lake view but received a lake room in the back unit. We had a good view just not the view I expected. This was due to my kid's room being down the hall from us. They needed to keep us in the same building. They provided us with an accommodation since there was a change in perspective.

They treated us well. View was fantastic. Very quiet. Beds were great.

We only had one toilet roll in our bathroom

The staff were so welcoming. We upgraded to a lake view room and I'm so happy we did, as it was absolutely out of this world. I mentioned when checking in that it was my birthday and they arranged for a bottle of prosecco to be sent to the room. The room was spacious, clean, modern and SO comfortable, with the most beautiful view. We ate at Alpine Social, which had the relaxed atmosphere we wanted. We did the sunrise canoe the next morning and both agree it was the best experience.

We stayed at the Fairmont to celebrate our wedding anniversary. From check-in the staff went out of their way to help us feel welcome and celebrate our anniversary. They helped us with restaurant reservations and treats in the room and every member of staff was so kind and thoughtful. We stayed in a fantastic room with a view of Lake Louse, the room was spacious and luxurious - and you could look down to decide when to get over to the lake and beat the crowds. Thank you! We'll 100% be back

They didn’t provide any water bottles in the room. For the amount they charged, that should have been included.
