How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The room smelled a bit musty from only 1 window which I assume never gets opened. Bathroom walls are also wet & peeling. TV reception was horrible.

Toilet leaked and ultimately failed. The management immediately allowed my wife and I access to a vacant room next to us until the toilet was repaired which was scheduled for the same morning of the toilet failure.
Convenient location, clean and comfortable.

The reception area is up to Wyndham standards, but the room was tired and overdue for an update. Although spacious and comfortable (we were in a Queen Kitchenette), the room could use a deep cleaning of the carpets and drapes; kind of a dusty odour. There were NO safety bars in the tiny bathroom, or a anti-slip mat for the tub. This is completely unacceptable in a time when our population is aging rapidly. We did not use the kitchen portion of our room, but it was also tired and outdated and kind of sad looking. A makeover is needed.
The Queen suite we took was spacious and comfortable. The evening receptionist was exceptional, as was the morning staff. Prepared for us, pleasant and very professional. There is a generous amount of parking here. Finally, the breakfast at this hotel, considering its size and location in Alberta, offers a lot of choice and the breakfast room is sparkling clean and a generous size. The staff was there promptly to clean and wipe tables that guests had just vacated.

Lots of noises in the night of the building or something creaking that was quite loud. Not sure if it was pipes or what. Overall decently clean but found a gummy as well as hair in the bathroom that wasn’t ours.

The rooms were sufferably HOT, and changing the thermostat didn’t change the room temperature.we opened the windows and door, but relief was temporary . No one slept!

Air conditioner was located in the bathroom which was not effective in cooling the rest of the room and the bathroom door had to be left open most of the time . They did bring a fan in for us which offered some help as outside temps were over 30c

There was a noisy party just vbelow our room (we were on the second floor, didn't break up till one a.m.

It doesn’t have the hanging card to place at the door to tell whether to “not to disturb or not clean my room or vice versa” HK should nit just go if cleaning is not requested.
Staffs at the reception area are really nice.

It's just a bit tired, overall, and, needs some major investment to lift it into 2024.
The night manager was superb, going the extra mile to accommodate our requests upon arrival. The room was a very generous size; and, as promised, quiet, despite the location of this property to a major highway.

Noisy, cleaning staff dragging their carts past our room at 8 in the morning woke us all up early. Then banging around above us and beside us too. Didn't get the rest we all would have liked.

Everything was good!
Room was bright, quiet, lots of hot Water, good comfortable bed, had microwave and fridge. Private access door with vehicle 5 ft from the door.

The breakfast was adequate - not as good as Super 8 breakfasts I have had previously (a few years ago) at other locations. Have standards changed? No waffle maker or hot items eg sausage, bacon.
Motel was fine and a nice place to eat just over the parking lot.
