Reviews of Sunshine and Wine Loft

Staying at the Sunshine and Wine Loft exceeded our expectations! The location is incredibly convenient, a 5-minute drive from Main Street restaurants, Okanagan and Skaha Lakes, Safeway, London Drugs, and liquor stores. The loft is spacious and equipped with everything you need: a wonderful bed, great shower, Jacuzzi, coffeemaker, minibar, air conditioning, extra towels, blankets, and city maps. The breakfast was fantastic, with a huge fruit bowl, bananas, bagels, jelly, peanut butter, butter, fresh coffee, and creamer. And the best part of the experience was, without a doubt, the great conversation with Gary and Sharon. They are amazing people who will do everything they can to make you feel welcome and comfortable, as well as share their knowledge of the area. We truly appreciate all their tips and suggestions and hope to see them, and lovely Ricky, soon. I highly recommend their loft to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming place!

Nothing, everything is perfect.

We absolutely loved our stay! Gary, Sharon and Ricky are wonderful hosts who immediately made us feel welcome. Our dog, Maple, had the best time and felt right at home too. The house itself is beautiful; spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. Our room was cozy and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Breakfast was delicious and clearly made with care. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and can’t wait to visit again!

A Wonderful Stay in Penticton The location works perfectly, situated midway between Skaha and Okanagan Lakes, just minutes from each by car. It's also conveniently close to Penticton's town centre. The unit itself is clean, well-designed, and thoughtfully arranged to offer privacy and comfort. But what truly made our stay exceptional were our hosts, Gary and Sharon. Their care and attention were beyond anything we expected. We experienced a few personal unexpected hiccups during our trip, including a car breakdown and other unfortunate events, and Gary went well above and beyond to help us. His kindness and generosity ensured our holiday stayed on track despite the challenges. If we could give more than five stars, Gary would absolutely deserve them all. Highly recommend booking Sunshine and Wine Loft!!!

Well located for needs Sweet decor

The location was good with easy access to everything. Gary and Sharon, our host and hostess, were extremely friendly. The place was very clean and we felt at home. Our dog, Ebony, enjoyed the access to the beautiful garden which was totally fenced!

We had a lovely time at Sunshine and Wine Loft when we stopped for a three day break in June. Gary and Sharon were lovely and very flexible to meet our needs. We chatted every morning over an excellent breakfast (tons of fruit and bagels - yum) and most evenings. They were so friendly and a great source of knowledge about Penticton and the area. The location of the house is excellent for wine touring, with easy access to South Okanagan, the Similkameen, and the Naramata Bench.

We really enjoyed our stay while in the Okanagan to visit family. Our suite was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Gary and Sharon were very hospitable and interesting to chat with. I would recommend their accommodation for others visiting the area.

The breakfast was good. We enjoyed the fresh fruit, yoghurt and bagels. Perhaps, a bit more variety in what was provided would have been welcome. However, I know this requires a lot more prep and would likely increase the cost per night for staying here.

Exceptional! Warm and friendly owners who made me (and my dog) feel very welcome. The room is very spacious and comfortable with a lovely en-suite. They have thought of every tiny detail to make this a comfortable stay. Extra blankets, beach towels, bottles of water, interesting tea selection, good coffee, bath salts and other toiletries...the list goes on. Breakfast was fabulous and Gary was happy to make it for exactly when I needed it even though that was different each day. Quiet neighbourhood and close to lots of amenities.

The hosting couple is super nice and kind and helpful. The room is spacious as well as the bathroom (a tiny heads up there: the bathroom ceiling is Open to the bedroom) Everything was very clean and the breakfast was awesome.

Sharon and Gary are amazing hosts, friendly and kind. Their house is pet-friendly (thank you, guys, for that) and the off-leash dog park is just a few minutes away. There is no problem with parking, finding the place or the accessibility in general. The room has everything you need, it's clean and bright. We loved our mornings talking to Gary and having great breakfast and fresh coffee. Would book another weekend here in a heartbeat, so 110% recommendation from us.

Breakfast was great. Loved having a bowl of fresh fruit just waiting for us to sit down. Our hosts Gary and Sharon were very welcoming. We enjoyed visiting with them and exchanging stories. Their backyard patio area is a neat place to sit back and relax. The room was very bright and very comfortable. Have to mention, it's a quiet neighbourhood, which is great for sleeping.
