How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The shower needed new fixtures. And a new shower curtain.
Recently updated inside the rooms. Bed was comfortable.

This was definitely a very rundown facility. We suspect that the owner has purchased it and did not put any money into improving the bathrooms, cleaning up the carpet, repainting the facility, and simply priced it low enough so that people would use it as it undercut all the other hotels in the area in price - the issue is that there were stains all over the carpet that you didn’t even want to take your shoes off, and the sinks and bath area had all kinds of rust stains and other unpleasant damage throughout. The shower was almost like a razor and was almost difficult to stand underneath because the stream was so strong.
The property was available, and the price was very accommodating for a quick overnight stay. The staff was very kind, and the woman attendant did her best to be courteous.

PET OWNERS BEWARE! I paid a pet fee but it was not advertised until after I checked in, pets are not allowed on the bed and there is a $150 penalty.

No air flow, springs in bed If you have allergy to pets, the room have carpets. Felt quite stuffy in the morning.

At first I was alittle bit worried about what the room might look like because the outside of the motel doesn't look in great shape.
For one night it wasn't bad at all. The bed was super comfy. The room was clean

We could hear when the neighbouring guests ran a shower otherwise it was quiet.
Bed was comfortable, room was clean, reception was pleasant..The facilities had all that we needed..Cache Creek might seem just like a four way junction point but Juniper Provincial Park and Petroglyph Interpretive Centre tour nearby is worth a stop.

The walkway between the front doors and the rear of vehicles was very narrow especially if pick-ups had backed in.
Room had plenty of space with a compact dining table. Ceramic coffee cups,metal cutlery & hard plastic water glasses. Dishwasher liquid and towel provided. Bathroom was clean and well lit with very hot water,

The bed was a queen size mattress on a double bed frame. If you sat on one end or side, the other end or side tipped up. Tried to have a hot bath. The shower would partially run with the faucet.. with very cold water . When I tried to turn on just the shower, it was half strength. Because the tub faucet also ran at half strength. The shampoo provided was separated or partially dried out or something. Left little blobs of shampoo in the tub when I rinsed my hair. I guess I know why the price was so much lower than other accommodations in the area
The property itself was easy to get in and out of. The area was quiet enough.

Smack in the middle of “ town”,easy to find right on Hwy 97c.Pub,restaurant and grocery store 2 minutes walk.Very nice reception at front desk by Eva who let us choose our room.Super comfortable bed.Kitchen area a real bonus if you want to eat at the table.Full size fridge,microwave,coffee pot and toaster.A kitchen counter with a sink and a few dishes and cutlery.Some traffic noise in the morning.Heating a bit difficult to figure out.Broken pavement a challenge for a motorbike.
