Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Nothing, actually. 2 small things could be improved though. First, the dishwasher doesn't start easily due to the door not being properly fitted. The second was the lack of hooks to hang jackets and bathrobes. Nothing preventing a very nice stay, though.
Perfect little studio apartment next to the sea, in a very clean and pretty neighborhood. Perfectly furnished, every thing to cook at home if you want to. My stay was peaceful and quiet. I loved it.

Nice sheets. Lots of places to eat near by.. 2 museums Within walking distance. Gift shop at the cannery museum was very comprehensive.

The self checking. It would have been easier for us to have a personal avaliable at the time of arrival. We needed to call your information service(Ivan and Steven, I believe was his name, were most helpful), before we could get into the property.
We did not know about a breakfast, we were not informed about breakfast being avaliable. We purchased our own.

Not a lot of space to squeeze between TV and foot of bed to get to washroom.
Great location overlooking river. Quiet. Nice set up of suite, with a comfy bed. Walking distance to the action of Steveston.

The guest portal was cumbersome to set up. I needed to take multiple photographs of my myself and my ID before one was accepted. It would have been useful to know that this step needed to be done on a cell phone rather than a computer. When we arrived at the property, there was no cell service in the parking lot or nearby area. This meant we couldn't access the guest portal that had our key code. Another guest took pity on us (saying he had had the same issue) and let us in the building. Once inside the cell signal was fine and we were able to access our room. Had I known this would be a problem, I would have printed out the instructions or taken a screenshot prior to arrival.
Great location! The bedroom and living room were much bigger than expected! Lots of extra touches, like an umbrella, clothing steamer, and cozy extra blanket. Would very happily stay here again!

Only thing I can think of may be the air conditioning was very loud which was more noticeable at night but luckily didn’t keep us awake.
For us it was definitely the location with lovely walk to shops cafes & waterside restaurants.! Awesome village atmosphere and so close to the fisherman’s wharf which my husband, being a fisherman from New Zealand absolutely loved.

Location, modern, clean, great amenities.
Great location in Steveston. East to access and the suite was lovely. We had some challenges with our air conditioning and we were able to get help right away. We only stayed one night but would definitely stay here again. Would be a great home base for multiple nights.

Bathroom definitely needs 2 more hooks. Very few places to hang make up kits, pj's, items you wash out. HVAC a bit noisy.

To talk to someone about the booking, online communication only made the stay did not meet our needs (ie no early check in/out) Design of room, other guests in our room had to walk through our bedroom to go out main room.

The only downside was the loud ventilation system, which couldn’t be turned off. Without earplugs, it was hard to get a good night's sleep. Still, we’d stay again – just with earplugs next time!
Top location right by the water – perfect for exploring Steveston! The room was very clean and well-equipped. Overall, great value for money

Ground level - very public walk-by felt a little "exposed". Only basic kitchen essentials - dishes & cutlery, small fridge. Bring all your food stuff. Caution - US data roaming kicked in, phone service sketchy.
Great location. decadent linens and robes. clean and bright with contemporary decor. Wonderful location walking straight out onto the seawalk and steps into town. Parking, entry and communication was great. Make sure to have your access code - it works for everything.

Exposed pipework ( part of the loft style decor to leave them exposed) was very noisy. you could here air con running constantly and running water whenever the taps or toilet were used in rooms above.
very clean and modern and far more spacious than expected. Very well appointed for amenities. Fantastic restaurants within a few minutes walk.
