Honestly, not much to complain about. If I had to mention one thing, I just wish the price was a little lower. But considering the quality of the service and the location, it was still totally worth it.

Emily at Shining Waters Inc. was absolutely wonderful — super welcoming and easy to talk to. Honestly, I could’ve chatted with her for hours! (If you're reading this, thank you again — you truly a game changer!) The location is perfect — just steps away from the beach, scenic trails, and food stores. The room was very clean, and the bed was really comfortable, which I appreciated after a long day. Although the room didn’t have a fridge or microwave, everything I needed was available 24/7 in the common area. I mentioned to Emily that I’d be leaving early, and she thoughtfully prepared a breakfast pack in a cooler — such a kind gesture. Would I recommend it? Definitely yes!

Very dated but not cozy. Head board bolted to 2x4s to wall, preventing access to electric plug for CPAP. Killed the earwig in the room- dated windows. Parking was on grass, and it rained, so things got a little messy. Did not see the pools, which may be great. Only stayed one night, so the place did not have much of a chance to change my first impressions.

The inn is very old. It has not been updated in the last 30 yrs. Floors uneven. Windows have moisture damage. AC to loud too run. Thankfully it was cooler weather. Staff were there, not so interested in hosting. Wearing earbuds, ' it might take a couple hrs for tv cable to refresh". Dirty old ashtray on the 'terrace". The price was too much for such a run down inn. No one cares about it.

Good location. Close to beach and restaurants, activities and trails. Clean towels and nice quilt on the bed.

It's a quaint little area that's close to Green Gables Heritage Place and Cavendish Beach. It's a collection of cottages perfect for families. The cottage had a full kitchen, bathroom, living room with sleeper sofa, and a bedroom. Also had a propane BBQ out front. We were upgraded to a cottage due to a plumbing issue in the original booking.

Stairs were a bit awkward for this old gal with suitcase. Had to ask for a chair for my room - not a problem.

There was an end of season feeling to the place - supplies weren't being replenished in the public areas, the bin was full to bursting in the public washroom, breakfast was sparse, pool was closed.

What's not to like about Anne of Green Gables country? Green Gables golf course was reasonable and fun to play. The beaches are superb. The Blue Mussel has excellent seafood

It wasn’t so much about not liking, but just knowing what it is. With the building being older and original, you had to be prepared that it was unique and not like a traditional hotel. This was what we were looking for, so it was great. I should mention that we stayed in the hotel, not the cabins, so I cannot speak to those.

It is an older building with tons of charm. Excellent location, the staff were great, and our breakfast was good.

The one of the rooms had poor insulation and my mom couldn't sleep at all because the room got really cold at night. It might be nice to have extra blankets in a room.

The floor is crooked in the room and you can see the bend in the main ceiling beam downstairs. Other than that, the place is great! Lady at the front desk assured me it's safe, been like that for decades.

The building is old and tired. Pretty from the outside, but old worn out carpets, uneven floors, poorly draining sink and tub.

The location was perfect for a walk down to Cavendish Beach. Nice breakfast options in a buffet.

The floor very un even couldn't even walk straight. The bed against the window. Window as a head board, so the branches from the tree kept us up most of the night since it was windy that night.
