If I’m really, really, really picky, maybe because it was just one burner plate to cook on. But there was also an air fryer and that made up for just having one plate of course there are two barbecues outside. But otherwise I have no negative comments at all.

The view is absolutely spectacular. It is located on a Bluff overlooking all the gulf islands. The sunsets were incredible We had nice lunches outside, but at night we wanted to just stay at home. Do not miss the sunset plus we even saw orca.

Pedestal sink in bathroom which means no counter to use for stuff. Just above the sink is a glass shelf which makes it hard to wash your face without bumping your head.

We had a little trouble finding the place but this was mostly my fault.

We loved the privacy since we were the only people staying there. The view was oustanding, perhaps the nicest view we have ever had from a hotel.

Everything was amazing, one small recommendation would be to have an extra cooktop, otherwise we improvised by using the BBQ burner. The one at the property didn't work.

The house and Susan, our host, was very nice! Highly recommend! We loved the view, the comfort of having all the amenities of your home, the separate bathrooms and did I mention the VIEW!!! The home was so clean and well taken care of. Thank you Susan and your family, we had a lovely time!

The view was amazing. We spent many hours on the deck enjoying the constant change in scenery. We were lucky as a thunder/lightening storm rolled in over the islands and we were able to sit on the deck and experience it. Shared kitchen is clean with everything you need for cooking. Two BBQ's The area surrounding is peaceful, quiet and full of nature. The owners are respectful. We stayed in the star trek room, king bed was comfortable. View was amazing. Deck off the room was amazing. The room is painted with planets and star bursts. Let's just say, it's funky. : ) Bathroom is modern and clean. We will definitely recommend it to our friends and family.

The view was spectacular with various seating to take full advantage, it made it impossible to want to leave the serenity. Such a comfortable home, the kitchen was immaculate and was well stocked with everything one could possibly need. Our host was beyond helpful, generous and pleasant. I highly recommend staying here.

The bees limited our outdoor time a fair bit which was disappointing but there were plans to deal with them.

Incredible location overlooking the Gulf Islands. We ate meals outside when we could and enjoyed reading and relaxing on the decks. The other guests were friendly and respectful so it wasn’t hard to share the common kitchen and other spaces. Pender Island had nice hikes, a few good markets and restaurants, including a Saturday farmers market we really enjoyed. Our hosts were lovely and worked hard to make it a lovely space.

The location is a bit challenging to find - the location is on a bit of a back road. Once you know where it is you can get there easy enough. Make sure you bring food supplies with you - the kitchen is terrific, but, it is some distance to shopping.

The Shangri-La is located at the top of a cliff overlooking the bay and several other islands - the view is incredible. The facility is well laid out with a common kitchen/recreation area for their guests. wonderful spot.
