Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

CanadaThis would be out of the control of the hotel and staff so it is not a reflection on them. There were adults and kids yelling in the hallway up until and slightly past midnight, almost constantly. At 2:15am, another adult in the hallway loudly vocally expressing themselves until almost 2:30am. On a more positive note, most guests or children were friendly and polite while passing in the hallways and stairways. I can only imagine how challenging and stressful it would be to be displaced by fire and attempt to live in and entertain children in a hotel for weeks. We got up at 6am, had a relaxing breakfast downstairs, packed up and left by 7:30/8am. Again, this is not a norm experienced in past stays. Just simply mentioning so others are aware of what they may need to contend with at this moment.
Rooms were clean, beds very comfortable, staff friendly and helpful same as last time I stayed. Super convenient to have restaurants beside the hotel. Stores and a Tim’s across the street within walking distance.

CanadaOne bedside light didn't work, the a/c was a little difficult to operate, and the wi-fi not the most dependable. Some guests may not like there is no breakfast, but there is a Denny's right next door...
Overall, a fine, dependable hotel we 'll likely return to for a short family visit like this one. The price was more than reasonable, the accommodations clean and comfortable, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the pool a godsend for a morning swim.

CanadaThe hot tub was not working and it was hard to find the right phone number to get directly to the hotel (rather than the universal Sandman Hotel Group) to ask whether it was working or not. This might be an app issue rather than a hotel issue! The hotel did tell us it that the hot tub was not working before we booked. The bathtub in the room also drained so slowly that my feet were left in water. When we advised the front desk, they acted upon it.
