How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Bathtub was a bit dated and old. The door to the room did not seal properly (light coming in around door). Driving to and from the rear parking was over gravel.
Room was spacious. Quality of the beds was good.

This property is very old and is in need of upgrading. The wash room especially needs to be redone.
It was convenient for a one night stay.

Building needs love. It’s run down. They do the best with it though.
Convenient location across from curling rink. I was in town for a bonspiel.

The hotel is dated. It is not inspiring to see a closed restaurant with papered over windows when you arrive at a hotel. It is a long walk into town for dinner (if you are going to have drinks).
The beds and bedding are very comfortable. Aside from that, the property is sadly dated and in need of work. I like the fact that there is a pretty school property with ponderosa pines (and deer) next doo.

For the price, we were expecting more than a basic motel. Dusty furniture. Weird connecting door in the back with no lock. Felt unsafe.

The man (manager) made it very clear that he definitely was not a good PR person for Princeton.Didnt have anything good to say about anything, much less Princeton.

Very tired property with old-fashioned keyed locks and older air conditioners, etc. I am not sure how secure it is if you are a woman staying alone. It was a quiet time of year, so I felt reasonably safe, but that door and lock was not stopping anyone and it had a back door to another room, with no lock. It was reasonably clean, but it is old, so it shows a lot wear. The bed was very soft, and the pillows very round, so I did find it quite uncomfortable, but others that like a softer mattress would probably like it ok. I was disappointed that no one cleaned the room or changed towels for the 3 days I stayed - I got in late each night, so didn't ask at the front desk since it was already closed. I was expecting maid service and they didn't specify that there was none. Walls are thin, so you can hear people in other rooms.
This is a good budget stay. The front desk was accommodating for slightly late check in (note, they close reception at night, so verify check in time if you are coming in late). The linens were clean and new. Parking is right in front of your door, so convenient. The Tv, microwave and fridge were all functional. There was lots of hot water and the tub was super deep for a really nice bath.

I am sorry to write something negative, but, there was not mirror in the bathroom, also one lamp has a burned light, it did not work, also the front of the hotel doesn't look great, I booked the hotel because of the name, but I would not stay there again and for sure I can not recommend it to anybody.

It's older, and the wallpaper was peeling, and the furniture stained. On booking.com it says breakfast included but there was no breakfast available as the restaurant is closed indefinitely
It was right next to a playground for the kids which was great. The hotel is ok. the bed and bathroom were clean.
