Excellent facilities, game rooms, pool, hot tub and sauna. Also golf course and practice for beginners. Most importantly they have 4 different walking trails. Overall ot was very good facility.

What lets this property down is the restaurant. We had two different cocktails and both were overly sweet, tasted like a cheap soda. I paid $32 for haddock with caper sauce (although I afterwards saw on their app it should be $24… hhhmmmm). Not sure where the sauce was… I found one caper on the plate and barely a drop of sauce. It should really have been served with sauce in a separate pot. The vegetables it came with were steamed and clearly reheated. They were rubbery and bland, the potatoes had also been baked and then reheated and were dried out and chewy. On top of that no thought went into the presentation, it looked like something that comes out of my kitchen on an average weekday. For this reason we would not go back. Food and beverage are a huge part of a successful resort experience, and although this resort is beautiful, with stunning views, the overpriced, low quality food really spoiled our experience. If they get a good chef in they would really be onto a winning concept. What a shame…

The lobby was very welcoming and beautiful. The room was cosy and clean with comfortable beds. The bathroom seemed to have been partially renovated. Overall we were pleasantly surprised by how nice the room and common areas were. Although we could hear the people above us walk around in their room, it was very quiet at night and we slept well! We loved the views of the golf course, and the golf was great!

During our stay several kids were running and yelling in the hallway. Food was leftover outside a guest room from dinner until we checked out in the morning.

Mill river resort was a great stay in the west end of PEI. Staff was friendly and helpful. The lovely 2km walking path was a great way to walk around with our dog. There's also a public microwave.

Hotel is clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We were on a cycling trip of the Confederation Trail and they have a secure room to store bikes in, which was a bonus. We were able to get dinner at the hotel and it was very quiet at night.

Unfortunately the heater was extremely loud. We did not have a good sleep as a result. Breakfast was very good but was not included in the price.

We really loved this place! The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We'd booked dinner at their restaurant and the food was outstanding! We sat outside and really enjoyed watching the golfers finishing up their rounds. Service was prompt and efficient. Our room was very comfortable and larger than we expected. Overall a great experience!

Flies in the room and dining room were a slight issue. Some of the facilities and furniture are beginning to look dated. Fraying carpets and damaged formica tables. Building exterior needs repairs to wooden shakes

The management and staff were graciously kind and helpful. The facility is beautiful and the grounds are maintained with care. I am not a golfer but I would return in any season to enjoy the trails and other many amenities.
