Size of the room, need some renovation, especially the bathroom.

This is an average motel, not among the best, not bad, similar to many other motels across North America. Yet pretty pricy. You pay for the location. 25 minutes to Banff. Nice hot tube.

Stayed in the suite with 3 queen beds it was really dry in there. The wall on the loft was covered in dust and the small window. And it really needs a black out curtains on the loft as its really hard to sleep.

The large round table made getting the sofa bed out difficult. It would be much better using a foldable table or one that is much smaller.

Location was fantastic, trip to lake Louise pick up point just a short walk away. Bus stop to Banff is opposite, and the walk into Canmore itself is a beautiful 15/20 min stroll if you choose the more scenic route which is well worth doing. The property itself was a great base. There were 6 of us, one couple in the bedroom, my son on the sofa bed which was a bit of a faff to get out with the huge round table in the way but we managed. The loft beds were comfortable and it really had a cabin feel to it. Don’t expect much but it’s comfortable and clean and the employees couldn’t do enough. I would certainly return.

'Economical stay'. It's an older place, but clean and comfortable for the price. Nice to have the seperate bedroom and then a shared kitchen/living/dining room space. Would definitely stay there again.

Facilities are dated. Not enough power outlets, and there were no bedside lamps in bedroom. The room did not have a phone and front desk was unaware. They did not bother to check even after being informed.

Only negative thing was a weird gas smell coming from fire place and the alarm went off. I called and the staff sent someone over and he looked it over and turned off the gas for me because I was scared. Staff were super nice just a scary experience with the gas smell.

The facility is old. One night the toilet got clogged. We did not flush down anything that shouldn't go down. When we called the front desk, we were told the maintenance crew is gone so we will just have to use the plunger. But then fifteen minutes passed, nobody sent us the plunger. When I called again, I was rudely told by the front desk that he was busy. The hotel could not find a plunger. And if in the middle of night our family needs to use the bathroom, we should go to the front office, which is in another building.

The rooms are clean and had everything we needed. The location is not too bad, close the Canmore downtown and twenty minutes to Banff National Park.

Mainly the Value for money. We paid 300 usd per night in July but this lodge isn't worth it. For 200 it'll be a good value for money. We won't return at this price tag

Basic, not luxury for the price. Way too pricey at over 430/night ( average) before the start of full season. Paid half in Revelstoke and Panorama for much more luxurious apartments.

Good size living room, good bed ( medium hard), kitchen well equipped as hardware but nothing else (no salt, paper, sugar, oil, condiments). Fantastic location and views, very clean.

The air-condition was outdated; the window unit. So considering the price per night (over $500), we weren't impressed. However, when we asked the staff for an extra fan, it was promptly. delivered. Another thing missing was an iron. Again, not a necessary item; however, sometimes needed. In general, the kitchen was clean, but equipped with very basic things, excluding the coffee maker, which didn't work. We had no energy though to ask for another one. We just went to the nearby bakery.

The location is amazing. The room in general was clean, if not on the old side a little bit.

Some Traffic and train noise when windows open but not a big issue. A few things didn’t work- toaster, microwave snd we had a problem with shower

Location on the edge of town. Bus to Banff stopped outside. Patio doors were nice to have. Separate bedroom from lounge kichen was nice for a change. And we enjoyed the jacuzzi. well equipped kitchenette. We loved watching the gofers outside on the grass - so cute Bed and bedding and pillows were wonderfully comfortable.
