The place is a bit dated - but still fully sufficient! The breakfast could be a bit of a madhouse and didn't have many healthy options or protein. Always a line to get a coffee as there is only one machine and no brewed coffee.

The staff was super friendly and helpful! Room was clean & well stocked. Large community room was great for games/cards/etc.

Everything looks clean and orderly, but every time we were in our room, most of us have this allergy like symptoms which very unusual. Started on second day, when myself and my husband had the same kind of condition , then on the third day 5 of us feeling sick with runny nose and headache - thinking it could be because of our whole day walk outside. But thing was worst during the night. It also might be because of the smell of room/carpet??? Upon return home, most of us felt much relieved just my husband and nephew not so well.

Staff at reception are very helpful and friendly. Same as the kitchen staff- always clean. Breakfast room is always full of healthy choice of food.

The location is not super central but it’s not like they are hiding the location. If you know Victoria and you can read a map, you’ll know you aren’t staying right downtown. It was a 9 minute drive to the harbour front.

The room was spotless. Bathroom recently renovated so modern and clean. Towels were excellent. Bedding was also excellent, very comfortable. Location 10 minutes from downtown. Parking included which was a definite bonus. The complimentary breakfast was very good

Cleaning is only done every 3 days, including garbage pickup, and sheets are changed only every 7 days, which is not enough. Breakfast is very small and should be described as ‘snacks included’ rather than breakfast, though the all-day coffee machine is a nice bonus. We heard the hotel recently changed ownership and amenities seem reduced. The AC is extremely noisy and would make sleeping difficult in hot weather, though we were lucky to avoid using it. Using any two appliances at once (AC, hair dryer, or in-suite coffee machine) trips the power, and there was no notice about this.

All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was dark and quiet, perfect for sleeping, and everything was clean, including the bathroom. I especially appreciated the free e-bike rental since the hotel’s location right on the Galloping Goose Trail. It is perfect for cycling enthusiasts — the trail stretches 55 km from Victoria to Sooke. Victoria’s downtown cycling infrastructure is excellent as well, so next time we visit, we plan to rent e-bikes for longer rides.

Breakfast. Cereal, toast, pancakes, apples, frozen berries, yogurt and quick oatmeal. It was very basic and could have been upgraded to egg bites or mini omelets like other chains offer.

The hotel is old however the rooms have been upgraded, I.e. new carpet, furniture, bathrooms. The kitchenette had everything we needed.

Room odour and noisy AC.

Quiet area and close proximity to inner water system, bike paths, kayaking. Parking on site. Decent breakfast included along with free E-bikes and kayaks. Area bike trails are great.

The floor carpet color is dark so I can't get if it is clean or not. The portable air conditioner is quite loud.

The receptionist was really kind and welcoming . Including t E- bikes is so beneficial
