The first night, we were in a room facing the railroad tracks and we were woken up in the wee hours of the morning by the sound of the train! Afterwards, we asked to be on the side facing the street, and once we switched to that room, we had a much better stay.

Fantastic location! Walking distance from delicious ethnic restaurants and a wonderful coffee & bagel place.

It was a bit noisy - we had a young family in a room next to ours and it was loud late at night. I also have stayed there where they offer free breakfast - I wish they would bring that back- it would make what we had to pay a bit more bearable

The location is ideal. Very convenient, close to Banff. The room was a good size and had all the amenities needed to make the stay pleasant

I didn’t like the front entrance there’s only enough space for 1 car to pass by making it a 1way road, especially when you’re trying to pull around to park in the back and theres always a car parked there. It’s not the property fault but the railway train is right behind this hotel so you can hear it throughout the night when a train goes by.

Easy to navigate inside the building, staff was nice and helpful.

The beds are SO hard. Also, the building doesn’t seem well insulated. It was very noisy from every angle.

The only thing was the beds could be more comfortable but they are not bad. Also the TV doesn't have many channels. Those are only two small things though. My partner was fine with the bed lol and I'm just a bit picky about beds

The hotel has everything one would need. We didn't use the pool area but it did have a waterslide and hot tub. The breakfast is a great price with a simple buffet. The room had its own AC, fridge, TV and microwave. Great mountain views all around the town!

for the price we paid, i could've stayed at Banff. doesn't live up to the "Canmore is more budget friendly then Banff" ideology. why would i pay extra to stay 20 min away from Banff? i understand that the occupancy and general business of the property dictates the nightly rates... but still... i felt way over charged.

Train noise- tracks @100meters from facing rooms.... Fortunately they didn't run late at night, Early alarm clock though. Bathroom door and tub/shower design too efficient.

Property is old, rooms need updating. The beds were not comfortable.

The breakfast was excellent. You have to pay, but it's worth it. Breakfast is served in a real restaurant. They have a great indoor pool with waterslide. Towels were provided at pool side.

The A/C was too noisy.

It was spacious, clean, staff were really friendly. The breakfast was lovely. I wondered if the Waitresses remembered every morning and helped me with gluten free bread. Hot tub was beautiful looking out at the Canadian Rockies.

The room was quite smelly, the supplies likes shampoo are in a small tubes than built in refillables.

It’s great location, with a very nice view and convenience to different restaurants. Lots of parking lots available and has own breakfast which is paid separately though CAD 9 only. Near to Banff town.

Construction going on during our stay, bit of an eye sore and blocked access to another set of stairs. Also carpet "teeth track" was left exposed in stairwell that was open to guest use, a bit of a hazard for anyone especially traveling with a young child.

There was a stairwell directly outside my room for easier access to parking downstairs, saved time moving about the hotel. Which is important when you're trying to squeeze the most out of a vacation. Breakfast not included in price of room, but for a small fee had access to a large spread of goodies.
