How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The handicap accessibility is absolutely ridiculous for a convention centre. If you want people to come here for things like events and stuff and you want them to be able to bring their physically challenged family or you want to open up the possibility of holding conferences for the physically, mentally or visually impaired. you NEED to improve this. I didn’t inform the hotel prior to check in that my mom would require a wheelchair but surprises like this happen and I am not mad for myself. I am frustrated for those who may be weren’t aware of the physical challenges they would face by going to your establishment. . Examples being the ramps that are meant for wheelchair users are far too steep. The elevators require a two step process which I’m aware is for safety but me as an able-bodied person was not able to make the elevators work 20% of the time and I will wear this can’t really be fixed, but it is an issue.. the distance that one has to travel to their room from the front desk is kind of crazy, especially if you’re in any other than the main block.

The restaurant chef was new and could only cook a few things. Breakfast was not great. Eggs and sausage tasted weird/ burnt. Churros dry and cold.

The only issues were the following: We were on the 3rd floor. The hallway and the room were very hot when we arrived. The hallway was so hot I would start to sweat walking to my room ( I am in very good health and very good shape with muscular build so it wasn’t because I was fat). The carpet in the hallways is lifting making it hard to pull luggage along. It just needs to be stretched again it looks like. The bed was worn out. It sagged in the middle, time to change it out. The breakfast area is way too small. We had to stand against the wall to eat until a table was free.
The room was spacious and very quiet.

the beds were a little bit too hard. most hotels have gone to the new tv boxes so that you can log in to your netflix and disney subscriptions. this just had the provided channels of tv channels which made it hard to watch
the hotel was a great value for the price. the staff was very nice and accommodating. the included breakfast was also a great value. it was clean. the pool was a good size with hot tub and steam room

Need pancake machine for breakfast other than that no complaints
Hotel is quite big suite rooms have their own elevators on another side. Room was clean,big,comfortable. Breakfast was good nothing fancy normal hotel breakfast. Would be nice if they had pancake machine like most hotels. Close to downtown not a far drive from west Ed. Free parking. Never had any AC issues or was overly warm in the hallways or room. Will be back again.

Not enough towels so I asked from the staff and they're very helpful and provided it immediately. Refrigerator was too small.

We were surprised to find there was no shampoo or conditioner in our room, but it turned out to be a mistake, and it was promptly taken care of.
Clean and cozy room, with an especially comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent as well. The quiet surroundings were a plus, and the place was easy to spot even from a distance. Uber drivers also had no trouble finding it, making transportation hassle-free. The internet speed was fast, and I was very satisfied with the pool, hot tub, and sauna.
