The bed was very comfy. My husband slept 2 hours longer than normal.

we were on the ground floor-first night we had a quiet upstairs neighbor, the second night they were a bit noisy, the last night there they had 'visitors' and were dragging chairs and whatever other furniture they could move around the room and the STOMPING /heavy walking across the floor CONSTANTLY was a nightmare. We complained to the front desk and it did quiet down a bit but they weren't going to go 'completely quiet'. We didn't get much sleep on our 3rd night. This is NOT the fault of Joy's Inn, it's on the backs of the entitled clowns who were upstairs and didn't care if anyone else slept that night or not. Disrespectful people like this should be blacklisted as you might lose more return guests than they can make up for. The staff were horrified to hear of our experience. We had a 9 hour drive on Sunday and some sleep on Sat night would have been 'nice'.

I liked having the sink be in the common area of the room separate from the bathroom. This arrangement makes it more convenient when there are 2 or more travelers (although in this case I was traveling solo).

Smell….the carpets in the halls smell of pets. Replace/remove carpet would tremendously improve the hotels appeal.

Would have been great to know about laundry availability and use of main kitchen availability sooner, e.g. ice cream that could be bought. These are good features and because I'm from far away (Ontario) would have helped to feel more at home.

Liked the cats! Also the availability of snack machine and laundry. It was very nice in the front desk room where there was good natural light and a pleasant decor. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Nice and close to the hospital so could visit my Aunt every day.

When we checked in, we requested a late check out for 1pm and the girl who checked us in said that was no problem. The next day we got a phone call saying we had to be out by 12:30pm at the latest.

I was pleasantly surprised with how comfortable and clean this room was, being a budget friendly price!

I feel like this is a really old motel and it has been smoked in over the years. The room smelt of older cigarettes but not awful or overwhelming. This was a non smoking room, and we are non smokers so I think we smelt it more. But over all a very nice room for a motel. Was pleasantly surprised.

The staff was so friendly when I arrived checking was a breeze. Room was clean and recently looked like it had renovations such as newer paint. I really like the laminate flooring.

The lumpiest hard small pillows. Thin walls. Noisy AC but worked well. The Bed. It was not very comfortable and too small for two people. Brought an inflatable bed and our own pillows, linens and towels. (our last stay a year ago was uncomfortable, neither of us slept so brought our own things to make it more comfortable.

Location for an activity at Dickson point Clean. I like the laminate floors vs carpets. They’re a little worn but clean. Bathrooms very clean. Replaced towels the day after arrival on a two day stay. My husband appreciated not having to reuse a damp towel.

Pet friendly is fine, but I did not like the fact that 4 large cats occupy the lobby. One even sat on the counter between me and the registration agent. He was offended when I objected to having a giant cat in my face.

The facility is clean and looks fresh. They offer many services such as snacks, access to a full kitchen with meal items for purchase, a workout room and a guest laundry that has newer, clean machines. The rooms are basic, but very clean.
