Being authentic to 1927 there is no air conditioning, so it was very warm, particularly in the lobby and restaurant, but I was able to open the windows in my room so that helped a lot along with a big fan.

You really can't beat the location and the view from this hotel. It is like taking a step back in time to a wonderful, grand hotel with so many historical features preserved and the wonderful lobby and wood work and architectural features make for great memories in an authentic historical hotel.

We were slightly late leaving the room as we had a late breakfast. I understand that the hotel was sold out and the rooms need to be turned asap but we were rushed out of the rooms and that felt a little off since check-in for the next guest would be hours away with plenty of time to clean and ready the room.

This was a part of our Canadian Rockies trip and the town of Waterton blew us away! It was our favorite! The vibe was just so chill. The hotel is simply beautiful and the location overlooking the lake is breathtaking. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and both were great. The staff was very courteous and friendly.

A little small and rooms were warm. It is a botique hotel and is what it was for the time period when it was built. It has been well naintained. Outside chairs to look at the view would also be nice.

The site is majestic and the view was a beautiful.

Three adults stayed in a room with a single bed and double bed it was a bit cramped, but we didn't come to spend all our time in the room.

The views were breathtaking. The ambiance was unique. It was very relaxing.

Having to leave

Walking through the front doors and seeing the view took my breath away! The lobby was beautiful yet cozy. Perfect for sitting and taking in the majestic water and mountain views!

I have absolutely no complaints!

The staff and the Canadians were all amazing! This was my 1st time in Canada, and the residents were kind and had empathy for the United States citizens! The hotel history, the Waterton Lake boat tour, and the close proximity to the town of Waterton made travel easy!

Price was a little high. 900 for 2 nights was a little high.

The Staff were excellent. Location Fabulous. Food Amazing. Drinks outstanding.

Beautiful location looking out over Emerald Bay in this historical hotel while having High Tea was an experience of a lifetime.

Blew a fuse.. wiring is old…hotel is 100 yrs old so perfectly understandable. Why is coffee/tea not available in the lobby?

Quality of food didn't meet the cost of the food in the pub.

No complementary breakfast although complementary coffee was excellent.

While staying at a historical hotel is special, there is a lot of upkeep that has been overlooked fora long time. The doors to our room, both to the hallway and the balcony, don’t seal so there is a constant draft in the room, especially with all the wind that this location receives. The exterior paint is in bad shape, peeled, cracked, etc.

What a fabulous location overlooking the lake.! The room was comfortable, the bed was great, the bathroom appeared to have been upgraded at some point and was very nice. We enjoyed interacting with staff, finding out where there were from, etc. Breakfast was superb, loved the healthy options.

That we could not sit outside comfortably to enjoy a cigar with lake view.

The originality and historic value of the building and place. All the details including the kilt uniforms of the staff are great.

There wasn't a thing I didn't like. However, if you're looking for a modern, spa-like motel, this isn't it. If you're looking for a unique, historic place, this is a must stay

Impressive, historic structure. Stunning view. The restaurant was delicious. The sweet young lady at the front desk gave us all sorts of scenic places to drive to during our stay.
