The only downside was we had a room that had a window to a hallway and not to the outside. I didn’t realize this until we opened the room door. We had to keep the curtain closed because people were walking by. We didn’t spend a lot of time inside the room but I wish I had know when I booked or even when I checked in, so I could have chosen a different room. When we got to the room I didn’t want the hassle of dragging our stuff to another room and we were only staying one night.

Beautiful property, we really enjoyed the pool and took advantage of the shuttle to town.

There is a municipal accommodation tax AND a resort fee, which together with HST on these fees added substantially to a bill that was already $ 600 a night for a room with two double beds. I wonder why there are two different tourism taxes that add another $ 100 a night to the bill. Some of the outdoor carpets are stained and wear and tear on the wood on the stairs should get a fresh coat of paint before the summer crowd arrives. The shower curtain smelled very musty but it was changed right away when I called the front desk. So kudos for that quick response.

Great staff, food, location, and the pool is wonderful for my family.

To get to our room we had a lengthy walk, outside, and the flight of stairs - not good. Parking was quite a ways away. We are seniors and it was very tiring. Perhaps I should have been forewarned when I booked a room. And we noticed there was parking very near our room, but we were not made away of it. The shuttle into town didn’t start until 3 - most people head out way before that. Tea and coffee in the lobby was not always available - not good. Our bathroom could do with paint touchups. The room beside us had a crying and barking dog for 2 hours in the evening. It did stop shortly after we reported it to the front desk.

Beds very comfortable. Shower was great. Morning breakfast was delicious. The grounds, especially all the beautiful flowers were lovely. We didn’t use the spa or pool facilities. The hotel generally is beautiful and full of character. We appreciated the texts from Ivy. We didn’t really use her much, but it was a great idea.

Our bed wasn’t the most comfortable. Well specifically the left side, it dipped down and my fiancé did not have a comfortable sleep the whole trip. There were also random hairs on the bed and in the bathroom which was a little unsettling. It just didn’t feel like a super clean hotel but it’s also old so I’m not sure. We also had a lot of luggage and there is no elevator so it’s good to keep that in mind.

The location was amazing. All the landscape is beautiful. The spa is also great, and all of the staff are very helpful and friendly. I liked that there were food options that you could enjoy in the robes provided (more of a relaxed feel). It’s also nice that there is an indoor and outdoor pool - the weather does not impact your stay at all. This was nice since we had more of a gloomy and chilly week.

We did not use the pool because it was extremely crowded. This did not bother us very much because it was not the main reason we came. We own a pool so it wasn't something we were particularly concerned with, but for someone coming here expecting to have private time in the pool I could see it being a huge concern. There were never any chairs everytime we looked. Also, the room was a bit stuffy at night - AC could be improved, but this was not a dealbreaker.

Room was very large and spacious. Much bigger than expected. Bathroom was absolutely perfect and shower was amazing! The hotel overall was nice, but I think for the cost we were expecting a bit more in terms of ammenities.

Water damange on ceiling of 3rd floor, bathroom wallpaper peeling. Airconditioner was so noisy i had to sleep with a pillow over my head. I have a mobility issue and had a hard time parking close to the door. The few designated spots were often used by folks with no disabilty permits. Very frustrating.

Its a lovely property. I have been 3 times. It is starting to need repairs. Having said that the beds are comfy. Thr food is very good. And the pools are great.

Getting old. Ice machine on the second floor didn’t work. Some of the outside rooms looked filthy. Allowing day pass guests is frustrating when the pool area is small and the cost to stay there is already super high

Rooms were dated. We stayed on the main floor by the outside pool. It felt very much like a motel on the highway when you were inside the room. It definitely needs updating for the $$$$.

Close to everything and the shuttle too, you to the main area.

The property felt worn out, tired. Thunderstorms overnight flooded under the entryway doors. The rooms felt musty and we'll used. It wouldn't hurt to have a maintenance team do regular touchups. One of our towels was used with makeup on it. Will not stay there again.

For the cost, it would be nice to have a continental breakfast included in the price, since the only option for breakfast was a buffet. Our mattress was okay, but I could feel metal springs; it could use a new one, room 260. Would we return? YES We happened to arrive as a large group was checking it. It was very chaotic; they should have a separate area for large groups. We had to wait in line for a while to check in. Bathrooms are large, with one sink, the countertop is nicely sized, but the shower has no place for women to place their leg while shaving, which is a safety concern.

We had little time to use the facilities, our fault. They looked nice and busy. The room was a generous size, which we loved.
