PARKING WAS $20 PER NIGHT APPARENTLY BECAUSE I BOOKED THE HOTEL VIA BOOKING.COM. IF I HAD BOOKED DIRECT THE PARKING WOULD HAVE BEEN FREE. REALLY!

LOCATION RIGHT ON THE BEACH AS WELL AS THE RESTAURNT ON THE LAKE (JUST 50 METRES FROM THE HOTEL). FROM THE MOMENT YOU WALKED INTO THE FOYER YOU COULD TELL YOU WERE AT A TRUE 4 STAR HOTEL.

At a big party on the lake, it was very noisy.

Very modern and clean room, great location, easy access to town, restaurants, and shops.Beautiful view from the balcony. Next to a lake. Comfortable beds and pleasant bed sheets.

Could use some updates to the bedroom & bathroom - shower head, closet doors, etc but these are minor issues. The lobby and public areas have obviously had recent updates.

Location, location, location! Beautiful lake views and a wonderful restaurant in the water with friendly staff and great food! The gym was also very good.

The band played until late and kept us awake. We also couldn't turn off a noisy fan in the room and finally called the front desk to have them throw a breaker to turn it off - which they did.

Greatly appreciated the soap/shampoo/conditioner dispensers which save on plastic and on the contents. Also great to see a recycling bin in the room and a reusable water bottle with non-chlorinated water in it. Front desk folks were really kindly and helpful. Food, view and staff at the Merganser and the breakfast cafe were really good.

I didn't like it was the winter for couldn't use thd beach or facilities but always next summer of 2025. Nice to see you, again.

I loved the view. Christmas time was rather pleasant. Christmas decorations were awesome throughout the resort. New Years was nice as well. It was a nice stay. Look forward to 2025.

The hot tub is a long way from the rooms but we were supplied robes which was nice. I found it very industrial in the pool area and the hot tub was green in colour and appeared that it may not be clean. I decided to try it and found that my skin felt slimy so we left after a few minutes. The hotel really underutilizes the potential of this location. A roof top hot tub for adults would be wonderful and much more inline with guest expectations.

I booked the beach view room. Being familiar with Penticton I didn't understand the difference between the beach view and lake view as I thought they would be one and the same. The beach view actually looks back at the street with a side view of the beach and the lake view looks across the lake. It was fine but description saying that would be nice. I love that each room has a balcony. Room service was perfect and nice choices. I liked the fact you could also order a bottle of wine if you so please.

1.The air conditioner situation was horrendous. You have to call the reception to ask them to switch the ac on. I had to do it three times the first night as it started getting warm in the Room. I was really pissed about this. Not sure what is the deal with not having remote in the room and letting the guest decide on when they want to switch the ac on or off. 2.Another thing I did not like was that there is literally no sign or board of the name of the hotel apart from the one hidden by bushes. If you are coming to the hotel around 6 pm in winter time when it is dark, it gets very confusing to know if you are at the right place. 3.Parking ia charged at 15 $ per night. When the hotel is so damn expensive, I would have expected the parking fee to be included in the cost.

Location is top notch. It's right next to the lake. If you decide to take a sea view room, it is great view. The beds are quite comfortable. The pool and hot tub suffice.

Two important issues were not up to decent standards; A/C unit had one setting, very cold and the clock radio could not be adjusted.

Liked the overall facilities. Room was excellent. Pool and private beach were excellent. Food (only had breakfast) was also excellent!!
