Quiet

Uncomfortable beds

I love The Holiday House not because it's a luxurious place to stay, but because it's exactly what it says on the box. A cheap, clean place to stay that's really close to the beach. The kitchen works, the bathroom works, the AC works, the beds are comfortable. No frills.

Things looked a little worse for wear: Paint peeling, no fan in the bathroom, the front door looked like it had been kicked a million times. The bathroom is kind of dated and had very little counter space.

The room was clean.

The room and bathroom were clean and the bed was comfortable. The location is very close to the beach at Skaha lake and was very quiet. The manager was friendly and helpful.

It was very very fine, which would’ve been fine if it was cheap. But crazy how overpriced it was for how not nice it was.

Clean and cool

I was close to the beach I was close to shopping close there is a number of restaurants of walking distance to go have dinner and shopping or whatever you needed to do it was close

I enjoyed my stay quiet and peaceful

Clean and well maintained.

Nothing.. the lady working the was so rude and the room stank so bad. There were a bunch of people fighting and yelling all night. I was terrified.

I didn’t like the rooms, the staff and I didn’t like paying 300 for a night in a dirty, unsafe room.

The room was very very clean, every surface, even every corner of the bathroom. I was pleasantly surprised. In the room there were: fridge, microwave, TV; In the bathroom there were also extra towels and the necessary for washing, as well as a hairdryer. The location of the property is perfect because you can walk to Skaha lake.

The TV had green mold on it, like it was sitting in water.

The manager is efficient, intelligent and kind. It’s an old property. Hanging in. But it is cheap and clean … go elsewhere if you want to

Great unpretentious classic motel

The person who checked us in and was taking care of cleaning was so friendly and pleasant, and was the highlight of our stay. The bed was comfy, and the room was a 4/5 clean.

I did find a toenail on the floor, and the shower was difficult to get going. The hanging space was also challenging to hang a dress since the microwave was right under it.

The women in the office who we dealt with was so friendly and inviting and very accommodating. Check in time is 4 pm but she allowed us to check in at 1030. The room was clean and the bed was super comfy. We will definitely stay here again.
