Yulan’s home was in a serene scenic neighborhood. We could see ocean view from the balcony. Yulan’s place was beautifully decorated. she gave us a warm welcome and was very responsive to our questions. Highly recommended and hope to be back again!

This was a lovely property to stay at. The room is very spacious and immaculately clean. The area is terrific and it is very quiet at night. You have access to a well equipped kitchen and we wished we were staying longer as it was such a nice place to go. The hostess was warm and welcoming and check in was very easy.

This is an amazing property. The location has a spectacular ocean view. The suite where we stayed is large, very clean and there is a well equipped guest kitchen. The hostess is most accommodating and helpful. My husband and I highly recommend this property for a stay in Nanaimo.

I was very happy with this place. There are stairs to the front door and more to the room. It was no problem for me, but be aware if you have trouble navigating stairs.. Otherwise, enjoy your stay.

The house is beautiful. With a lovely curbside presentation. Inside is even nicer. It is a quiet, safe, upscale neighborhood near the ocean. Great for walks. I felt comfortable leaving most of my baggage in my vehicle, which was parked in the driveway. The room is large with a large closet and ensuite bathroom. There is a family-sized deck off the room that has an ocean view. I spent most of the evening enjoying the warm weather and the view from the deck. When it got cooler, I moved inside and enjoyed the view from a sofa set in front of the floor to ceiling windows. (Window blinds available, when I finally had to go to bed.) Coffee in the room for morning. A separate kitchen with full-sized appliances available for guests. The hosts were friendly and non-intrusive. We had a nice chat in the morning before I left. We both missed the deer that got her roses that night; evidence of the wildlife in the area😊 I highly recommend this home stay. Full Kitchen is available. We made our own breakfast and were able to catch early ferry to Gabriola island. Fantastic view from the oversized room. My dad spent whole afternoon sat in the chair and enjoyed the view. Very very clean!

The rain and the clouds.

The lady who owns the place is very nice, introduced herself to us in a very friendly manner. Granma is very friendly. The view is spectacular overlooking the ocean. You can see the BC ferries and ships.

This didn't bother us as our stay was in Feb, and so the mornings are dark. But, for those staying in summer, there are vertical blinds but no curtains. But honestly, this is amazing value for money, and I suggest just wearing an eye mask if needed. We'd definitely come back!

Very spacious room on par with a suite. The bathroom was huge and well equipped. Bedroom had sitting area with sofa andTV. Kettle and Kuerig coffee maker provided with plenty of tea and coffee and access to the kitchen if needed. Lots of spare bedding, plus a storage heater for those cold nights. Lots of storage space for longer stays. Balcony, too, for nice weather.

We had to book this accommodation late because a previous booking cancelled two days before. They did us a big favour because we certainly ended up in a better location. This is a suite in a private house and the host, Yelen, was very welcoming. We had a car so we could get to anywhere we needed to go. Lots of deer on the footpath each day. We had a beautiful balcony that overlooked Nanaimo. Highly recommend.

Superb location where you can see the ocean from the suite. Really warm welcoming host who have waited for me to arrive. Bed was very comfy, I absolutely enjoyed my stay here
