Fantastic hotel in a beautiful spot overlooking the Rocky Mountains.

It was a little farther walk to downtown than expected but not bad at all.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. They had so many extra amenities such as giving us free bus passes around the town, garage parking, and complimentary local coffee and tea that you could request daily and even fresh made cream. We loved the rooftop hot pools and sauna especially after hiking all day.

Air Con was loud and I couldn’t figure out how to make it quieter.

Good location on edge of town, they give you free bus passes so it’s easy to travel around. Plenty of free underground parking. Nice room, good breakfast. Staff were friendly.

The gap in the room doors. You can hear when people come and go. Also, my bathroom door wouldn't close all the way.

Beautiful, clean hotel with wonderful rooftop hot tubs, sauna and fire pits. Amazing staff from check in to restaurants to housekeeping. Early refresh of the rooms blew me away!!! Food was excellent.

The front desk staff, Ms. Alexia is so helpful and gives kind assistance to us. We appreciate her effort. The hotel provides bus coupons to ride in Banff, which are extremely useful.

The location requires either driving or shuttling to downtown if you aren’t up for the mile or so walk from the hotel.

The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the balcony for morning coffee. Loved the pour-over coffee set up in the rooms.

Unstable / slow wifi connection causing flicking bad streaming on devices especially during daytimes . Need to reconnect wifi from time to time.

Friendly and helpful staff. Decent opening hours on hot pools and gym. Complimentary bus passes during the stay. Quiet room. Excellent restaurant (Good Folk) at the hotel for breakfast or dinner

Room was level with access road despite being upstairs so had to have the curtains drawn for privacy which was a shame, although I didn't spend much time in the room really because was only there one night The hotel is a bit of a walk from town, means its nice and quiet but something to bear in mind

The air con was very Noisy and seem quiet dates despite the age of the hotel. Only option of a breakfast on site isn’t included. With the price you pay for the property you would expect to get at least a continental included

Good location slightly out of the main ‘tourist buzz’ but still a walkable distance into the centre of Banff. Laundry services was useful due to travelling and it was a reasonable price too. Hot pools were a bonus after some hikes.

We loved the Otter Hotel! The fresh coffee everyday was so good! The rooms were clean, comfy and well appointed. The receptionists at the front desk had great information on the attractions and hikes. The location was close enough to walk to the restaurants in town, but they also give bus passes at check in if you would rather not walk.

Room is too small, no proper closet but only an open hanger. Water from shower is not strong enough for shampoo, particularly people with long and thick hair . Air-conditioner/heater too noisy and not able to adjust to desired temperature. Room rate is too expensive. The mountain view is half blocked by the roof of the building in front.

At good location, clean and new. Shower head have hand held option which is good. Provide hotel service and staff are helpful. Coffee and tea in room are good quality.

Expensive for 2nights against all the other hotels on our trip but it is peak season in Banff so too be expected!

Awesome hotel, facilities are excellent. Food in the restaurant is spot on, rated really highly against all the restaurants in Banff and not too overpriced! The free bus ticket is an awesome touch with the bus stop directly outside the hotel which will take you as far as the Gondola!
