Enjoyable, quiet, and comfortable so I'd consider staying again next business trip

Minor dislikes as I enjoyed staying there. It is very rustic so you can expect things to be a bit different than your typical hotel room. Found a couple of large spiders (which I hate) but I dealt with them. Cobwebs in some corners. Furniture is dated but comfortable. I didn't sit outside the room in the provided chairs and table for 2 reasons. One, it was way too hot outside - typical for the area and only Mother Nature to blame for that. Two, the covered porch has seen better days and I thought a gust of wind may have taken it down (and me with it). Parking for my cabin seemed a bit awkward as there wasn't room to back up to the door. The restaurant on-site was closed 2 of the 3 days of my stay but enjoyed it on the last day. Again, minor dislikes.

Number one is a working AC unit! 41 degrees outside so I appreciated coming back to the cabin and having it cool. The location was good for my needs. Cabins are very quiet as you don't have shared walls. Separate bedroom is nice. Updated bathroom. Clean. Brought my own streaming device so I didn't try the supplied Roku TV. Kitchen is well supplied but I didn't make us of it. Plenty of furnishings to sit and be comfortable. Decent WiFi and easy to connect. A code on the door so I didn't have a card or key to lose. Check in was a simple phone call.

There were cob-webs everywhere and we woke up to a spider in the sink, which wasn’t as big a deal to us since we’re used to them. I would’ve liked softer pillows though since I’m a side sleeper. The pillows they had gave me a headache from being too hard.

The size was perfect! It was a cute cabin with yellow chairs on the front porch with a vintage style interior. The bed was comfy and soft as well. We liked the cozy feel and not having a bunch of noise from neighbors or other guests. It had a full kitchen and living space which was extra helpful since we had 2 dogs with us.

Restaurant closed just as we got there, about 6 pm, and it was a good thing we were carrying food. It was also closed the next morning . Bungalow is ina steep valley between a noisy highway and busy railroad, but the AC drowned the noise out just fine.

Funky character, very roomy, surrounded by tall, tall trees, gorgeous valley. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bungalow was neat and clean. AC was very nice to have as it was quite hot when we were there.

Restaurant kitchen closed at 6 so an early dinner but they let us sit as long as we liked. It’s clean and cared for, but is showing age as floorboards of porch were rough.

Friendly staff, gazebo behind was quiet and pleasant

The restaurant didn't seem to be open for breakfast as we thought it would be.

The staff were very friendly & helpful. When we called the morning we were leaving to ask if we could have a late check out, the staff were very accommodating.

Arrived early to be told the restaurant shut at 6pm. So had to shoot out and find provisions to cook in later. Not much open nearby but did get something to cook in. Disappointed because the restaurant looked as if it served good wholesome food

The unit was bigger than expected. Seating outside front and back. Comfy bed and well equipped with large fridge, cooker pots and pans. Very quiet

Our stay was great. The room was clean and comfortable. It was hot out, but the AC worked great. Even though it’s close to the highway we had very little road noise. We ate at the restaurant (which closes at 6) and had a good meal.

The bed was soft. Everything was old.

We appreciated the hot shower the most, wifi was strong. The cabin was old, but clean. A rustic place, at a convenient location. It was across the lane to a bowling alley, something to do in the evening.

The cabin I booked had an issue. I got 'upgraded' to another cabin with a nice Jacuzzi which we didn't need. This cabin was 'downgraded' for us which had no shower and no kitchen. We brought food to cook for breakfast but couldn't cook. We couldn't find any restaurants near that are open for breakfast either. And I wanted to shower so badly after a hot day, but no shower in the cabin. I felt awkward to shower in the jacuzzi which was in the middle of the living room. So we left early the next morning to grab something to eat in Hope and came home to shower. Nice people and a great restaurant in the middle of nowhere but it was not for us.

Friendly owner and staff at the restaurant. Clean and spacious cabin.

They charged us for a soup and they forgot to give it to me. I just realized when I went back to our room and my partner asked where was the soup they ordered. It was just a small mistake tho, no big deal.

Bed was super comfy, facilities were clean, view was amazing, staff was lovely.

Cute little last minute booking on our way through town. We stayed in the queen spa room and it was clean and comfy with great wifi and AC. Had dinner at the restaurant and the food and service were excellent! Quirky little joint with an all you can eat soup bar (highly recommend!) Little bit of highway noise overnight with passing semi trucks but it didn't affect our stay. Definitely stopping at the Chuckwagon Bar & Grill again next time we come through.
