the "ocean view" is a bit leading. Mostly the view from the window is of the garden and the resort across the street. Also wasn't sure why we were asked not to use their parking lot when there was clearly a lot of space.

This is an excellent place to stay. The hosts are fantastic: friendly and helpful and giving as much privacy as you'd pike while being available. The manor is one block from the ocean, including a lovely beach where we took a late afternoon swim. It is walking distance to a great bar and restaurant from which we watched the sun set. Breakfast was awesome. The room was so comfortable and pretty and the bathroom immaculate.

It was difficult to see the code pad on the Ocean room door at night. It would have been great to have a hand towel in the room but we were able to get one from the bathroom so not a big deal. A luggage rack or two in the room would also be great. I say these things only as helpful tips for the hosts, who were super friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay again if ever in the area!

The pool was too cool for us and the hot tub not really fully usable. Some mobility issues with one of us made the pool and hot tub difficult to use. On the other hand, the hosts are dedicated to improving any aspects where the accommodation falls short.

The breakfast was very nice and the hosts quite friendly and accommodating. We could choose from several breakfast dishes and beverages and we could choose when to have breakfast. Bed comfort very good. The decorating was modern, to a high standard, and very pleasing, reflecting the nature of the region. Cleanliness was excellent. Each room has its own bathroom and shower, though ours was down the hall. The location was quiet. I recommend this place.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the property.

Welcoming personal service. Quiet, back on golf course. Beachwalk a block away. Owners taking pride in their home. Delicious homemade breakfast.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I was the only one at the manor in March 2024. The bedrooms share a common bathroom that I didn’t have to share. I feel like it wouldn’t be a problem though.

Each morning the breakfast was personalized to what I would like to eat. The hostess, Lada, is a very good cook. The couple that host guests are friendly and welcoming. We had many interesting conversations. If you don’t mind walking uphill for a ways, everything is within walking distance or a short 5 minute drive. Walking along the beach each day was relaxing. I would definitely recommend this B & B.

Everything was top quality and amazing value for price. Best breakfast ever and wonderful conversations with hosts. Room and bed great, coffee machine and small fridge in room. Recent renovation in beautiful home with pool. Location beside qualicum beach. They made us reservations at a great restaurant for dinner. Our entire stay was special adding a great memory to our trip to Vancouver island. Highly recommend.
