Great location! Beautiful place with a great view!

The bathrooms are lovely; however, the showers really need grab bars for safety’s sake. The closets could also use a small chest of drawers to store clothing articles.

This is an unexpectedly beautiful house. The front facade doesn’t convey how lovely the house is inside. Beautifully decorated with a fantastic view of the ocean. We saw gorgeous sunsets & sunrises. NFLD has the somewhat exasperating habit of not putting street names at every intersection so finding the house was somewhat a comedy of errors. However the owner was wonderful via telephone helping us find our way. I would highly recommend staying here & if I’m ever back in Bonavista I hope the owner will let me stay again.

The house heated up when it was closed up during the day but that was quickly remedied by opening up the doors and windows (which were all screened so no bugs). Installing air conditioning in the bedrooms and a full length mirror at some point would be perfect.

Everything was great! A beautiful home with high quality amenities in a great location with a fantastic view.

It was quite hot inside 28C the house when we arrived but we managed to get it cooled down later on in the evening with the ocean breeze. There was AC cooling with the heat pump but it was not able to handle that much heat. Also, not sure why, but the baseboard heater came on near the heat pump. It would have been nice to have the AC started before arrival for guests before they arrive.

We sat on the large ocean view deck with a glass of wine watching the sunset with the whales frolicking in the distance. We made our own meals in the well stocked kitchen. It was nice to have the bedrooms on either end of the house and two bathrooms for couples privacy. We were able to wash our clothes in the top notch washer and dryer. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and so many beautiful white linens. Lots of towels. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and this was property was one of the best in our travels touring NL. We would love to come back again with more time. Highly recommend.

We had the windows open to cool the place down and allow air in but with the wind the blinds bang around and we were scared they were going to break. But the didn’t so that’s good. We used the air conditioner at night.

We loved the decor, layout and we had everything we needed. We walked downtown so location great.

Amazing view and supe comfortable and modern house. Very comfy beds and pillows. Super beautiful kitchen and living space. Walking distance to town and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous location, and a wonderfully comfortable and well appointed house. Nice cooking facilities, walking distance to a grocery, and not difficult to find. Beautiful view of the bay (there were icebergs there too while we were there).

Everything about it!! I liked both the fabulous ocean view but also the back view of green hillside. Designer kitchen, decor, etc. just fabulous! Would have felt this way even if there wasn’t an iceberg right in front of the property the whole time - visible from every room including the bathroom

The location was excellent. Oceanfront property with a beautiful deck to sit outside & enjoy the amazing scenery. The icebergs were directly across the road. Absolutely stunning!!!!

A very small thing, but some wine glasses would be great to enjoy a glass of wine on the deck

Great location with a beautiful deck to sit outside in the evenings and get the last of the sunshine. We were lucky to have icebergs floating past during our stay. All of the furnishings are very well appointed and beautifully decorated and the kitchen has almost everything you need. We especially loved the amazing washer/dryer ! Excellent location for exploring Bonavista. Communication from the host was excellent.

During down time there’s no local tv channels to watch live network programming. The property should have better information about the home and its facilities as well as information about the local area like tourist sites and businesses and restaurants that are open. Most homes we have stayed at have a binder of the types of items I have described.

The home is beautiful, clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The waterfront location is fabulous and within walking distance to a supermarket. Desiree was a great host and quickly responded to any questions we had.

It would have been appreciated to have local maps available or perhaps a book containing information on where to eat, things to do and see when in the area.

Excellent location for the main attractions of Bonavista. Property situated across from the water. Parking for one car on site. Home was beautifully decorated with bedrooms separated by the kitchen and living area. Cafe and pubs within a short distance of the property.
